Terrible food. I ordered some gorditas, they were super greasy. My friend ordered a taco dinner which is basically 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans. The people that came AFTER us got served BEFORE we did. We were waiting over 30 minutes for 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans.
Got super bloated and gassy, if you're looking to loose a couple of pounds this is the place for you!
Terrible customer service and greasy ass food. No wonder it is super empty, would not recommend. I used to love going to this place as a kid, and am disappointed at what it has become.

I understand that we all have bad days, but it’s important not to take them out on others. After a productive day at work, I took my three helpers out to eat. When we arrived at the restaurant, we noticed that some tables had "Reserved" signs. I understood and moved to a table without any signs. Only one side of the table had the sign, so I figured we were fine sitting there.
However, the staff member approached us with an unpleasant expression and, to my surprise, began shouting: "Can’t you see the signs on the tables? You need to move to the other side; this side is wet!" I was taken aback but remained calm and apologized, explaining that we sat there because no sign was on this part of the table. She rudely responded, "But it's wet—don’t you see?"
At that point, one of my coworkers said, "You know what? Let’s leave." And we did.
As a business owner, I know how important it is to treat customers with respect. If you're having a rough day, it’s better to talk to someone or take a moment to reset—don’t let it impact your interactions with others. And if a mistake happens, a sincere apology goes a long way.

The tongue tacos were delicious, but please don't order gorditas! Apart from the fact that they took too long, they were tasteless! The chubby ones are inedible!!!!

I remember coming here as a kid, i visited today as an adult and some things have changed. They took out the grocery store you needed to walk through to get to the restaurant. You use to get complimentary chips and salsa upon being seated, they took out the booths. That being said my mom guessed they changed oweners. The decor (mirrors and the tile) is the same and has not been updated for over 20 years. I heard the women’s bathroom was fine but men’s bathrooms had graffiti. Horchata was not the best. I wouldn’t recommend it. I do think the asada tacos were good. My family for gorditas de rajas, that was delish. The mini gorditas are also good.
Also there is a 3% fee if you pay with a card so I recommend you pay with cash.
Parking: There are two parking lots, one next to the building and another across the street from the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Nothing for kids

I only ordered gorditas and the truth is that the gorditas themselves were a good size and were spongy but the food itself is not good. My mother-in-law ordered a d rajas with cheese and the truth is they don't toast the chiles and they cut them into super large pieces and They put tomato and it lacks zason. I ordered a loin in red sauce and nothing to see sorry but they have a new cook who has seasoning.
It's great for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. The food was good, decent service, and the order was ready like in 10 minutes!

It’s sad when your Mexican and have to go to Chipotle down the street to get better food then at Gorditas Aguascalientes!! The carnita taco was served as huge blocks of boiled carnitas with green tasteless sauce on top. Same with the chicharrón in salsa verde-tasteless!! I asked for the taco de tripas but asked that they fry them golden brown n drain the oil, those were the only ones I liked. The rajas with chile-felt like the poblano peppers were not charred. Definitely disappointed.
