Country House is the place you PRAY to find when you move to a new area! First, it's a trip back to 1974--in the very best way. You'll walk in to find dark wood, a divided bar (to your right) and dining room, and music "of the era " And you'll have no trouble finding something delish on the menu; the soups, salads & sandwiches are very good, and they make the best hamburger in the state. (The drinks are good, too; my Long Island was as tasty today...
My wife and I went there for lunch. She really enjoyed the grilled grouper sandwich. I had the Country House Burger and liked it very much. The service was outstanding. The restaurant was very crowded but ambiance was very good. The side we both had was interesting it was called Half a and Half. Half French Fries and half Onion Rings. We've never seen that before but we thought it was terrific and we wish more restaurants would offer that. We'll be back.
