Mousaka had hard potatoes, lots of meat but little eggplant and less flavor. So-called special of Greek stew was dry chunks of meat served over an unappetizing pile of tasteless pasta—no other vegetables or sauce. Hummus was abundant but also bland. Bread was not typical crusty Greek bread but just bland white briead. We tossed out most of the leftovers. Positives: Wine was a healthy pour and saganaki was tasty. Service was attentive. Relatively quiet environment. We won't be going back.

The best Greek food anywhere now that Greek town closed. Everything was cooked to perfection . Have been there many time now and have tried several different entries and appetizers —and constitantly excellent

Wonderful food and ambiance. Impressed with the menu options, including many traditional Greek entrees you don't usually see at restaurants. Food tasted great.

Great food, confident service with the right amount of attention. Knowledge about the menu and offerings. A pleasant visit, will surely return.

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend. We expected it to be on the pricier side, but unfortunately felt the quality did not match the cost. Our total bill was about $130 before tip for two entrées, two appetizers, one alcoholic beverage, and two non-alcoholic drinks. The $17 espresso martini stood out as particularly expensive—more in line with city pricing than what we would expect in Clarendon Hills. We ordered the tzatziki as an appetizer, which came with a very generous portion (three large scoops) but only one pita. Each additional pita was just under $2, so unless you plan on eating it with a spoon, you're essentially required to order more. We also tried the Keftedakia (beef meatballs), which were unfortunately overcooked and lacking in flavor. For our entrées, I had the grilled chicken breast with a side of broccoli, and my fiancé had the gyro plate. The chicken itself was flavorful, though it was served in a noticeable amount of oil. The broccoli was over-steamed and slightly mushy, though the crispy garlic seasoning was a nice touch. The gyro plate was good, but difficult to eat as it was served with only one sliced pita. The service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant felt quite plain and not particularly warm or inviting. While we appreciate the effort, dining out has become too costly to risk on meals that don't feel worth the price. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return.

Our teams where hired to provide services here. Team was coming in each night. We agreed to a set weekly payment term then all of a sudden Thassos wants to change it and do a monthly term. When asked to sit down and write out an actual paper agreement stipulating the dates payment terms etc... Thassos has been refusing. Our GM pulled the team out suspended service until an agreement is made & now Thassos still refuses to pay people who have worked. Instead they want to call out management about other things that are irrelevant to labor laws. When requesting payment our management instead receives texts stating they're creeps and to be left alone however work was provided. In the kitchen the owner has numerous signs posted in a hand written marker style telling staff to only speak English in the location, another one states that servers are not allowed to speak to the patron. There are lots of signs and it is not the accurate way to treat staff. Our Management team is still waiting on payment.

THASSOS Greek Restaurant is without a doubt the best Greek Restaurant in IL. The food is Authentic and a culinary delight. They also offer a Wine selection that is Fabulous. There are some Wines on the list that are not easy to find. The atmosphere is relaxed & upscale. The service is professional & they are extremely knowledgable on the menu & Wines. You will often find Nick or Natasha the owners checking to make sure your dining experience is the Best.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter was completely absent during my entire visit. He never checked on me or asked if I liked the food. It was like he was invisible! And the ambiance was terrible because there's a busy train track just 50 yards away. So, every 20 minutes, a train would pass by the restaurant.

We ordered the coffee martini, lamb kabobs and white fish. Lamb kabobs were the highlight of our lunch, white fish not so much.

We have been to this restaurant a handful of times, but one thing that has stayed consitant is the poor attitude of the owner and female bartender. This last visit was our final time, we will never return here. Τρόπους μηδέν!!!!!

Saganaki and salad were good. Keftedes and Pastitsio tasteless. Special stuffed chicken breast overcooked and smothered in mozzarella (?). Disappointed.
