I was kind of disappointed in this visit. I'd seen all these good reviews, so I took the time to drive from Champaign to see for myself. (I drive within an hour of Champaign once a week to support small businesses in the central Illinois communities) Unfortunately, my cowboy skillet was overcooked. Over easy eggs were almost over hard. In my opinion, this skillet needed the yolk. I think if this dish wasn't overcooked, it would have been as good as the other reviews. Service was good.

First time here ..& so glad we stopped in ! The sausage is made fresh Daily and you can tell by how good it is ? Everyone was fast & kind . The place was decorated so cute ! My favorite sign hangs right under the clock ..Will definitely be back again.

Me and my wife love this place. We come here for breakfast about every other week and the food is always amazing, the staff is friendly and attentive, and you definitely get that "small town diner" feel. The only issue is that seating is a little cramped. I kinda wish they would buy out the adjacent building and knock out the wall or something. Otherwise, excellent place.

Cowboy skillet ? It was a lot of food for very cheap including tip, I paid less than $20. So yummy, friendly service, small town homey vibe. Very much enjoyed my time here. Great work staff!

Today was a huge disappointment. My mother and I came in sat down. No service. 2 other tables waited on that came in after us. 10 minutes ask mom if she'd like to leave. No so we waited. Finally a lady came around and if we wanted something to drink. Yes. Finally get drinks. Still waiting for someone to take our order. Salad and sandwich for both. Got silverware and salad dressing. No salad. Finally get salad then sandwich. I've come to Clinton and always for breakfast. But today. Ugg. I know people have bad days. But!!!!Not friendly today.
Our first time eating here. We ordered carry out for 6 people for Father's day brunch. It was less than 50 without tip(ALWAYS tip your waitstaff even if it's carry out :) ) the food was DELICIOUS. We got pancakes, bacon, Omelet, biscuits and Gravy, a skillet, and one of the breakfast combos. We got so much food for the price. And for such a huge order it was ready pretty fast, about 40-45 minutes. The inside is cute, about maybe 10 or 12 tables and a little counter. We will definitely be back to dine in one day soon. Thank you for a wonderful brunch on such a busy holiday!Vegetarian options: You can customize and add different veggies to every Omelet or skilletKid-friendliness: Our kids LOVED the foodParking: Free street parking right out front

A fantastic little hole-in-the-wall place where you just feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Service was slow but only because there was only one very young waitress.Because it is a small establishment, seating is limited and we were invited to share a table with a complete stranger who instantly became an old friend!Food was tasty and very reasonably priced, we got two meals for about the usual cost of one at Denny's.Highly recommend.
