Ordered takeout chicken tacos. Smothered in wet lettuce, the hapless taco shells didn’t stand a chance and totally disintegrated before consumption.

We are mexicans and every time we come here for lunch we feel as if we are not wanted, as if our money is not good enough! Service is rude at least to us as far as we are concerned.

I had cheese dip, chili relleno and a taco, taco was basic and nothing special, honestly I think taco bell has better tacos, chili relleno was probably the worst I've ever had. Food is nothing special. Service was spectacular

Let's Ride Illinois

Since this restaurant has no other social media presence.. I'm going to post the review I wrote on my own Facebook page here (since I can't tag them). They really need to hear this or in this case read.I visited last month. It's not fiction that you can find good tacos throughout the State of #Illinois . While that is true for this restaurant, where it suffers greatly is it's lack of authenticity. The tacos I received were served in a flour tortilla similar to what is found at your local Taco Bell, on top of that cilantro and onions (you know? What you find in an authentic Mexican Taco) came at an extra charge. The employees at this restaurant were shocked that I even requested as such as they were talking amongst themselves in Spanish about it. The sauce which is also sold separately wasn't spicy and is no different than the salsa you would get with tositos (again, more Americanized fare) The steak was also just seared and steamed vs grilled. Here comes the biggest sin of all... ready? The corn tortillas they offer are hard shells similar to taco bell! ?. It's this lack of authenticity that really holds this restaurant back from excelling and that's a lowdown dirty shame. If they stepped up the authenticity just a hair, I feel that they can help the state of #Illinois reach the top position in cuisine rather than being held in the third position.

Food is fine, nothing special and comparable to any other Mexican restaurant. My complaint is that a little girl next to our table vomited all over the carpet. I informed two staff members that this happened before they seated the next family. Staff did nothing and refused to acknowledge what I had just told them. One employee got a little sweeper to go over the crumbs. I informed the next family that was being seated of the vomit as they had two little kids with them.Staff were too focused on getting the next customers in. I understand business but geez, it was a straight up biohazard.Pro tip: don't let your kids crawl on the floor.Do better!

It’s probably just me since I’m from Texas. Really wasn’t that great. But it is Mexican restaurant in a smaller city in the Midwest. Can’t be too picky since I’m used to what you get down in Texas.
