We stopped in for breakfast, being an older couple we often split a breakfast as we just don't eat that much anymore. The restaurant was super clean and very nice inside. You can tell the owners take great pride in their restaurant. Our food came and it was excellent, one of the better breakfasts we have ever had! The only negative is we were told and charged an extra $4.50 to share the breakfast. In retrospect we should have asked for the menu back and picked two smaller dishes. Regardless of that we would definitely go here again.

I had double cheeseburger, it was huge along with stuffed pepper soup and battered fries. Wifey had the Omelette (you choose your cheese. We liked the place so much went back the next day. On Friday and Saturday they have All you can eat walleye.

Great place to eat. I've never had a bad meal there. The chicken strips with fries is the best I've ever had! Owners are so friendly a d love to interact with their guests.

Great restaurant and great food. The quality of their food is the best in the area. Everything is always perfect. I always stop by for dinner or breakfast when in town. The owner is one of the nicest people I think I have ever met! Make sure you grab a meal here don't miss this gem!

Fresh fruit and tons of whipped cream for the waffles!Portions: the cheeseburger came with ALL the toppings, side of fries and salad!!Skillet came with toast, waffles came with fruit choices and the 3x3x3 was insane with so much!Cons: the gravy for biscuits and gravy was ok, it wasn't amazing but it was the only thing that was average in flavor.

We love to eat here! The staff is so friendly, and the owners go out of their way to make you feel special. For my birthday, they brought me dessert and played “Happy Birthday” over the speaker. :) My son and I love Clinton Family Restaurant for all-day-breakfast, too! They’re truly a gem and have a great variety of meals available…definitely worth visiting.

We had breakfast here. The Benedict was surprisingly good. However, the hash browns ordered well-done were anything but and the coffee was mediocre at best and lukewarm. That said, the service was good and fortunately our server warned us of the astronomical shared plate fee ($4.50 just for sharing; nothing extra). Accordingly, we ordered a side of hash browns to avoid a $4.50 charge to share the Benedict. In sum, service was good, food was decent, coffee was not very good and prices were on the high side.

Me and my husband came here never been we ordered breakfast first the prices were extremely high bit we were like oh well we will just try out the food not even two minutes after ordering here they come with our friend that I know wasn't fresh because one how'd you walk back there grab a plate an Bing out my Food with no time to cook it the sausage were frozen bag sausage .the eggs looked and tasted like trash we didn't even take but one bite. When I told them I'd like to just pay for what we had to drink and leave when the manager or owner came over telling us we must not kno what real food is was very rude save your money and your time on this place we went to Ted's garage got a steak and delicious food half the price and way better service.

Absolutely amazing service! We had to come into town for a wrestling match at the school and grabbed breakfast here! Every single worker was so kind and gave excellent customer service! 100% a family restaurant! They even gave our daughters a little treat for Christmas! If we ever come back here this is where we’re going for our meals!

Best breakfast in a long time. Go here if you want some delicious food and genuine hospitality. Owner brought us a dessert on the house and welcomed us warmly. The benedict was amazing, poached eggs were perfection! Couldnt have been better, thanks!

What an absolute treat of a restaurant! Had to travel through Clinton today and this place looked new and fresh from the outside so we decided to swing in.... We were nicely rewarded! The employees were very courteous and the food came out so fast! It was really good too! So worth checking this place out!

Parking: The parking lot looked new and was very clean! The stripes were also very new appearing and were very easy to see!

To start off, my grandson and I make it a point to visit any and all restaurants we can while we travel and do work. The Clinton family restaurant keeps us coming back even though we haven't tried everything in Clinton yet! It's unfair to compare but the only restaurant around that we make a point to visit as often is the busy corner and even then, the corner has less to choose from. The staff has always been polite and quick, the owner always remembers us and makes a point to say hello. As someone who has worked hospitality and food service, they go out of their way to take care of you as a guest. The specials and discounts certainly help to save a dollar but are not needed to have a good, well priced meal. We will absolutely be back.

After visiting now 3 seperate times I can say with confidence that my dining experience here has been phenomenal! The food speaks for itself when I happily make the 45 minute drive just to come sit and enjoy. Specials are always interesting and helpful to a family trying to save a dollar. But the price is never anything to run from! For two people just getting lunch $25 should cover and thats a great deal today. Staff is also kind and friendly to the point where they remember who I was without seeing me for months and only with the few trips I had made. Will recommend to anyone as there is something on the menu for everyone.

Thanks to the CI Living story on this family restaurant, we made the 30 minute drive to Clinton, Illinois. The restaurant was clean, bright and BUSY! We were introduced to the husband and wife that own the business. Our waitress was personable, efficient and kind.Because it was my birthday, we got free desserts. We ordered the Beef Manhattan with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was great. We will go back.
