Food is pretty solid, and service not so much. We have been there twice for the buffet, and the server both times did not come and refill drinks. Did not come and ask how everything was and did not take plates or bring us our ticket.
We were there on the 5 of July for a birthday party. The servers were very polite and helpful, the establishment was very clean and inviting, and the atmosphere was great. The pizza, however, was mediocre at best. While the crust was good and the Taco pizza was pleasing to the palate, whatever was used that was supposed to be Italian Sausage was the furthest thing from sausage that I have ever tasted. We stopped for lunch after visiting the zoo. It was around 12:00. We were told the Buffett went until 1:30, so we figured it would still be pretty decent. I have never been to this particular Happy Joes, but have been to a couple others and their buffets were great. This one had limited choices in food. There was no salad bar.
