300 miles away and I’m still thinking about the awesome cheeseburger I had there. Probably the best winery in southern Illinois for its food, wine, atmosphere and service.

I have been there twice recently, to listen to live music. Both times the musician was place on the deck in a plastic bubble surrounding. He should have been in the front room by the bar where people want to sit. I'm not the only one who noticed this so I thought I would make this suggestion.

We were going to be in the area from another state around Thanksgiving at a rental to celebrate a family engagement. I had trouble finding the perfect spot during the week for the engagement celebration meal. Fork & Vine was my first choice but they didn't serve full meals during the week. After booking elsewhere I could not get this location out of my head as the perfect spot to celebrate. I contacted the manager Jenna, to see what, if anything they could do for us two days before Thanksgiving on a weekday. Jenna happily offered to host us after a short internal conversation. She went above and beyond to make this a special time for our family and it was a memory we will cherish. She, the kitchen manager and others served us a beauitful and delicious meal for our party of 8. The table was thoughtfully decorated as well. Everyone was kind and cheerful that we encountered there helping us that day. The building was beauitufully decorated for the holidays and the ambiance was perfect whether decorated or not. The grounds were very peaceful also. We had some amazing wine, desserts and appetizers on top of our entrees. All of that was phenomial but the kind people making all this happen made it even more wonderful. If in the area again, we will definitely return. Thank you Jenna and to all at Fork & Vine who had a hand in making this a fantastic celebration!

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The brunch menu is full of options for everyone. There was live music outside and very nice from our table in the upper covered deck.

We have been enjoying lunch here for over a year and we’re quite disappointed in the food, menu and service. We were told that we would be given a buzzer and that after placing our order at the bar they would buzz us and we were to pick up our lunch at the bar! What a change from previous visits. The menu is sparse and the food mediocre. The appetizer had sloppy presentation and poor quality vegetables. The soup tasted like from a can and the sandwich had very little filling ie. One very thin slice of ham and one piece of bacon. Our waiter was ok but not like the wait staff previously. Our Bloody Mary was served without the usual array of olives, bacon and etc. What happened?

My compliments to the chef!! We had the brussel sprouts with goat cheese and bacon and it was amazing!! For dinner we had the farmers pork chops and Tuscan herb chicken and both were fantastic! The Feather Hills Cabernet and Amalgam were delicious as well! We highly recommend coming here! And last but definitely not least our waitress Alex did an amazing job!

Went to Fork & Vine on a Friday evening to meet a group of old friends. Food was very good and the waitress was excellent! The waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about all the wines and entrees. She even took time to take photos of our group with each persons cell phone.

Service was very good; food was excellent; nice place but because it's all very open, the ambience/atmosphere was okay just no private dining if you're looking for a specific or special occasion unless you like it very open but there are areas with less crowd. It is a nice place.

The Fork and Vine restaurant and wine bar is a must stop conveniently located along the Illinois wine trail. A great space for a large gathering with a venue that is apparently for music. This was by far the best meal I've had in southern Illinois. Great food and appetizers and a menu that left me wanting to come back to try more. A nice selection of drinks featuring their own wines and other drink options as well. Located in the country I almost passed right by but this dining spot came highly recommended and I agree that The Fork and Vine is a must stop. The bar is inviting enough that I would consider stopping by for even just a drink without having dinner. The service was solid with a knowledgeable server who was able to answer questions not only about food and drink but also about nearby towns to visit. She did not seem to mind that us tourists were asking for where to go and what to see. I even took notes. I'll be back to take advantage of some of the stops she mentioned, and I'll stop at The Fork and Vine once again.
