We passed Honey Heist while driving through Southern Illinois last week and made sure we came back whey they were open. This was our first experience with meade and we are now fans! Each one we tried was fragrant and full of flavor so it was hard to go home with only 2 bottles. The setting is as lovely as the folks who run it. We will definitely return!

We came here for the 2024 Eclipse 3 weeks after they opened and it was BEAUTIFUL! Friendly staff, great mead, child and dog friendly. Truly a hidden gem!Good luck on the expansion!

If you've never had mead, go for a flight and find what sings to you. Everything they have is flavorful, smooth, and very easy to drink. Even if you find a favorite, the seasons change as does the seasonal offerings and the tasting room only carbonated meads that require frequent visits. Come one, come all and enjoy Southern Illinois mead!

I met Michele years ago while she was protecting & serving our Country, now her and her partners are just straight"serving"!I had a chance to try a few of her bottles as a holiday purchase for me and a few friends. Let me tell you, they are delicious! I cannot wait to visit the new distillery in person to see what they are serving up this week! And especially since they have an AIR BNB on property too!
