Loved our experience at Honey Heist Mead today! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and willing to spend time introducing us to their product. The vibe is open and laid back. The fight is the way to go. You’ll definitely want to try everything! Some of our favorites were the Chai Spiced Pear Apple Cider, Hop Brewery Collab, Jammed Up, Elderberry Plum, and Root Beer.
Honey Heist is amazing — every mead I’ve tried has been smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of the honey and the care that goes into each batch. The people here are super friendly and know their stuff, always happy to chat or help you find a new favorite.

Michelle and her team have created an absolute gem of a business in Southern Illinois. My girlfriend and I both graduated SIUC over 15 years ago and visit every year to unplug and bask in the glory of SoILL. Last year we didn’t have time to add Honey Heist to our trip but took a note as a must try. Today, we stopped and spent about an hour with them (wish we had more time) and the ownership and staff treated us with amazing service and knowledge of the meads we were drinking....
