Amazing food and service! We came in as a big group with kids and were lucky to get a table quickly. We tried a bunch of dishes - suggested by our friend: the Dervish Bowl, Trainwreck, smashed fried potatoes, cinnamon and lemon blueberry Dutch, and the classic combo bowl with chicken sausage. The chicken sausage really stood out — super flavorful and cooked just right. I actually wished I had more of it! The lemon blueberry Dutch was a bit too sweet for me, but still tasty. Even the coffee was smooth and easy to enjoy, and I’m not a big coffee drinker. Our waitress was so nice and helpful! This place is such a gem in Cobden — we’ll definitely be back!
Food has always been super good and unlike anything around here! However, an hour and a half wait is absolutely ridiculous and it’s not just once in a while, it’s every time. If i’m driving all the way out here, I clearly think it’s pretty good stuff. Won't be back until something is done about wait times.
This place is a gem. The food is spectacular, the cocktails are incredible. I never even had to ask if the gravy was made from scratch because I knew it would be excellent, and it is. I love the lemon blueberry dutch babies. The adult hot chocolate (I can't remember the proper name) is so tasty. Eat here if you love food and love yourself. You won't regret it.
I will add the building is pretty small, parties of 4 or more may take a longer time to get seated. But there's a cool antique store next door you can peruse while you wait!
This is one of the best breakfast places I’ve eaten at in Southern IL. They have killer breakfast sandwiches, our favorites are The Trainwreck and the Wake ‘N’ Bacon (order it “Fired Up”). We’ve been back twice and ordered the same exact sandwiches because of how tasty they are. You may wait awhile depending on the the time but it’s worth the wait for a delicious breakfast or brunch.
This was amazing. We also enjoyed an espresso martini. Nice atmosphere and shopping next door if there is a wait. The wait is worth it! Left a @walk4rox rock.
Don’t say you are open until 2pm but have your doors locked at 1:15pm.
My daughter and I went for breakfast on a Sunday
, definitely worth the wait. Food was exceptional. I had the 1/2 order B&G, delicious. If any of you have seen my posts previously, I am a B&G snob, their gravy is 10/10, homemade biscuit was delicious. Bacon was also cooked perfectly and tasted very good. Scrambled eggs were perfect as well.
We also had the carafe of mimosas and were very satisfied. Nice touch to an excellent breakfast.
Staff was very kind.
Definitely will be back when I was visiting again.
This is a must stop breakfast spot. Everything was perfect. My over medium egg was .... over MEDIUM. not over easy as most places make them.
The Dutch Babies are perfect. My wife and I split a regular breakfast and each got our preferred Dutch Baby.
We will be coming back on our next visit.
$50 for the both of us but we did kinda get three meals.
No espresso. Not a complaint from me just knowledge for you.
Oh and they make a bloody Mary with Mezcal!
Finally made it and worth the drive. Delicious food and excellent coffee.
I originally came to Cobden to eat at The South Pass Supper Club but they were closed. So I ended up going to The Iron Wisk and I'm glad I did. The service was good and the food was GREAT!!! I got the Cubano Sandwich which came with Kettle chips, and it was fantastic!!! I will definitely be coming back!!

Over-priced, but tasty 😋 The Benny Dutch Baby is good.
This little place is worth every minute of wait time you may encounter! We all had something different and it was all excellent! One of the best places I have ever ate… anywhere!
First time here. Fabulous. The best BLT I’ve ever had!!!
Great food!!! Service could have been a little better it took a while to get my drink. I had to order it twice.
Very good food. I had the Cuban sandwich on Paniini
