Food here is amazing and the servers are very kind. Definitely need to get there early or make a reservation if you want a table, because they're always packed. It's definitely worth the wait, though!!

We have been coming here for years and have had some great experiences, however our last experience was so terrible, we won’t be back for a long time. We expected there would be a wait, as there always is one. We were told that it would be a 30-40 minute wait when we first got there, after 40 minutes we checked in to see how much longer it would be and were told that it would be another 30-40 minutes. Since we had already waited a while we chose to stay, waiting in their outside seating area. After another 30 minutes we checked in on the wait time again and were told that it was almost time, a table was leaving and they would call us in about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, we checked again and after about another 5-10 minutes we were seated. Once we were seated, we waited another hour and a half on our food. After they took our order, no server checked in on us for the entire hour and a half until they brought our food. After paying, my husband took a drink of our son’s milk that he had half finished and realize that it was spoiled.
We may try to give it another go again at some point in the future but we won’t be back any time soon.

The food is delicious! A bit expensive but worth it.
They need a bigger sign out front. Drove past it 3 times looking for their restaurant sign. ?

Our daughter and her husband found this gem on the way to pick up our granddaughter from college. A hidden treasure for sure. Try it, you’ll like it.

My husband and I went this hot spot in Cobden. They told us it was going to be an hour wait, at 1st I said no we're not waiting then I said said we have nothing else to do. We'll I'm so glad we waited. The food was so good and service was even better. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back to visit. Next time we will try the breakfast.

This place is a fantastic little spot to eat in small town southern Illinois! It's nice to find something different that's high quality. It is small, so definitely plan for a wait. We were lucky and walked right in at 10, but it filled up fast after we sat down. Definitely worth it though, all the food and coffee was high quality, we will definitely come back if we visit the area again!

Unique, DELICIOUS food and drinks, some locally sourced. Small dining room, so get there early or be prepared to wait patiently. ? Highly recommend!

My absolute favorite!!!! I have never had a better breakfast or brunch than I have had at The Iron Whisk. This is my go-to for breakfast / brunch whenever I am in the area. The wait is more than worth it. There are options for everyone. The service is exceptional. The food is the best (I am partial to the Benny Bowl).
Love. Love. LOVE. Please, never change!

We like to try different places and not afraid to drive a distance to do so. We were told our wait would be 30 minutes, and the host suggested we go to the outside patio where there was a man serving Mimosa's, Bloody Mary's, etc. We got a Mimosa and a Bloody Mary. This was the only downside to The Iron Whisk, and that's why I gave it five stars. It was $8.00 for a Mimosa, the cup was tiny. I don't think I've ever seen a cup that small. Definitely not an $8.00 Mimosa. The Bloody Mary was good, but it was $10, with no extras to it. Meaning, no cheese, sausage, olives, celery. Just the juice and shot of Tequila. I guess I'm spoiled, because I can usually get a Bloody Mary with the works for $8 or $10 an hour away from where we live. It actually was only about a 10 minute wait and we were seated in the restaurant. Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Very modern inside.
