Went to the Iron whisk on a Sunday. We went early got there about 920 and waited an hour. We knew ahead of time we would have to wait and we were good with that. The Iron Whisk is very small I think there was a total of 13 tables. I had the train wreck breakfast sandwich and my husband had the wake n bacon. Both were so good. Even tho we had to wait awhile we said we would definitely go back. If you plan on going to the Iron whisk check out their website as it tells you to expect a long wait and they don't split checks.

Great place, worth the wait! Everyone there was very cheerful and helpful, and food was great at a reasonable price for the quality. Will definitely be back. There is plenty of free street parking beyond the lot, shouldn't be an issue.

We came from Chicago to carbondale for the eclipse and ate at this restaurant. It was so good we ate there every day! The food , pricing, and service is unbeatable. They gave us glasses for the eclipse after our meal. Would highly reccomend!

Great little restaurant - delicious food and drinks. Had the Reuben Dutch baby and it was delicious and whiskey palmer. Both highly recommended.

I can't say enough how delicious this place is. It's small so potentially be prepared to wait, but definitely well worth it.Kid-friendliness: Best little tucked away breakfast place. I've had numerous items off their menu and it's all been delicious. Their dutch baby's are awesome, which can be had sweet or savory.I was reluctant to provide a written review, not because it's awful, mainly due to the limited capacity indoors and the off chance that when my family goes we might not get a seat. Greedy I know.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire place is accessible.

This place was awesome! We’ve heard about this place for years and we finally managed to make it there. Everything we heard was true. Well worth the trip. The place is very small, but they manage to get you seated quickly. We will definitely be back.

Love this little hole-in-the-wall Bistro. Its brunch menu is awesome. Food is delicious. No wait in January, but it can be busy on weekends. Morning toddys are fabulous!

Such friendly staff! Great coffee. Great atmosphere and music. I was feeling peckish and just wanted some fresh finger foods and they accommodated. I’ll definitely be back.

They won't split your ticket, they serve ditch water coffee that will take a gallon of creamer to make it less bitter, the store was nice and clean though, and the Dutch Babies were under cooked, the biscuits and gravy was severely over cooked and the gravy was lumpy. Won't be coming back. $110 for less than satisfying food and cruddy service.
