“Since we have no Chinese buffet in Macomb, IMO this is the best choice that is only reasonably priced alternative. If you leave this place hungry, it your own fault. The portions are large and the food always hot and fresh. I have never had a bad meal here. AAAAA+++++.”

“Best sammiches in town. This is a Macomb must-try, on the same level as Larry A's. The sandwiches are unique in a way that you want a local sandwich shop to be, but without being wild or obnoxious. The ingrediants are all excellent and high quality, the same it's been for decades. Simply excellent.

Regarding some reviewss here, Ray is a nice dude. He's straightforward in trying to get it right. He'll admit he's a little gruff when he's busy, but it's never personal and adds to the charm and personality of the place. I know country folk expect constant politeness, fake or real, but I enjoy Ray's real-ness. He just cares about the food.”

“Thompson Dining Center is a solid spot if you're in the area and looking for a chill, hearty meal. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. I also grabbed a side of mashed potatoes and green beans, which were fresh and well-seasoned. Spent about $18 for a filling meal that hit the spot. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which makes for a relaxed dining experience. Definitely recommend if you're craving some comfort food that doesn't break the bank!”
