Update 2: Table service still needs some work. Long time to get drinks initially, asked for apps to come out first, but it served same time with our dinners. Had to go find a server twice to ask for service. Consistent issue across multiple visits. Food remains delivious! Still love the place but please work to improve the waiter service so I can go back to 5 stars.
Well seasoned and cooked food. Steak fries were delicious. Had the Fajitas El Paso, and it was excellent. Top notch good Mexican food. A soccer game was on the TV, and we had to chase down the wait a few times, but hey, overall, I will happily come back again!
(Update) Went back with a family of 10, and everyone loved the food. This became a new favorite Mexican restaurant for a few first-timers. Still need to work a bit on the waiter service being a bit more prompt and attentive. But the excellence of the meal makes up for that minor shortcoming.

Went for a birthday celebration after being there earlier in the week to test it out. Theu made the event a lot of fun two free shots of tequila for both birthday boys and it was a great experience

The tacos al pastuer were VERY dry and stringy, the pineapple was not good at all. The music was so loud we could not have a conversation at the table.
Our waiter, Jose was the best! He helped me to decide on my drink, (wine vs. margarita) and entree, both did not disappoint! I highly recommend this restaurant in Columbia IL!

Located along the old main street of Columbia, IL. Main Street is a well kept and thriving area, complete with pretty lighting at night. This Mexican dining place has most of the standard fare expected, with a couple of additions. A tasty corn muffin served with my combo and an additional container of sauce was served the chips. The stand-out here was the kind and thorough service. Definitely received above standard attention and it stood out. They have some outdoor seating and in particularly nice days can open their “garage style” glass doors to bring the outside in. They have a couple of TVs near the bar area for those interested in a sports game. The rest of the restaurant isn’t inundated with TVs though. Give it a try.
