We had carry-out..baked chicken Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes...as I'm playing the from the carry out container I thought what was burnt cheese from the Mac n cheese was actually a roach cooked into the Mac n cheese . My husband took it back and was told he could not get a refund. He questioned the manager how could she refuse him a full refund when there was a roach in the Mac n cheese. She probably thought about it either give the refund or deal with the health department and anyone else that should know obviously that facility is not up to standard. We will never ever order food there again period.

I just ordered takeout delivery from here and it was absolutely delicious. Two giant fried pork chops with sides of excellent macaroni and cheese and just right yams. Kudos!

Ordered out. The food traveled well. I’m glad that the cook put foil on the bottom of my croquets, that helps them stay “crispy”.Food was definitely good. Worth the money.Salmon croquets were good. Cabbage was good, cornbread muffin was a plus. Mac and cheese was decent, feel like there was American Cheese in it? I’m not a big fan of American cheese other than that no complaints.***decent sized portions, worth the money.
The food here was decent, but the setup is not organized at least it was not when I visited my group of 4 came and order together but the fish and chicken orders came out over 30 minutes later and the other 2 orders were fixed and cold we were not able to eat together as a family. The music was good but too loud! The servers are not able to hear and you can't hear hear them. Maybe I'll try them again on a day during the week.

I truly enjoyed coming here for the first time, although I was confused at first and thought I was maybe in the wrong place because it’s called Lawrence’s now. The food was delicious. I got the baked chicken quarter with dressing, sweet potatoes, and green beans with a side of cabbage. And I gave it a 4.5⭐️ because I dined in with my family and it was hotter than sin! There was no air.
