I placed an online order and walked into the store just as the manager Gina was making my sandwich. She was wearing gloves but was actively using her personal cell phone while preparing food. She didn’t realize I was the customer for that order. After putting her phone back in her pocket, she immediately reached back toward my sandwich without changing her gloves. I had to stop her because I wasn’t comfortable with my food being handled after she had touched her phone. If I hadn’t arrived when I did, I never would have known.
After I spoke up, she appeared frustrated while finishing my sandwich. She slapped the ingredients on carelessly, put it together sloppily, and cut it into 3 bogus uneven pieces. The entire interaction made me feel like raising a legitimate food safety concern was an inconvenience. Food safety and professionalism should be priorities, especially from a manager. I hope this location reinforces proper hygiene practices and customer service expectations.

This is one of my favorite Subway locations! I always have a great experience here, and the staff consistently makes my sandwiches exactly the way I like them. Everyone is friendly, and the service is always excellent. Thank you all for the great work!

Hey Gina, this is the guy that you cursed out over the phone. I just want to let you know I’m not joking. I do have a recorder of you using profanity over the phone and I will send that to corporate. Maybe they will do something about it because you did not help me at all You use the F word on my sandwich why do you want to use the F word on my Sandwich

Gina is the most polite and was quick to serve with the best costumer service i have ever had in a fast food restaurant and I would highly recommend this subway to and friend or family members in the future and will be going back in the future as long as Gina is there

I come here because it's closests Subway to where I work but I hate that's it's been a miss 2/3 times coming here. Most times they don't have what your looking for and when they do have it is put together poorly. All the way down to simply cutting the sandwich in half. The chicken used for the chicken teriyaki sandwich is terrible and taste like microwaved paste. Its giving tellytubby meal forsure. No flavor what so ever and still partially cold. Although the food is really truly not up to par, your ALWAYS gonna get great service.

On Oct.3 2025, Friday afternoon I was greeted by the staff upon entering the shop which I was surprised because that never happen here. They were friendly, polite, and completed my order quickly. I can't remember the name of one of the young ladies but one was Gina. Thank y'all for a good afternoon start.

On September 30th Tuesday, I stopped to grab a tuna sandwich after spending a 8-hour day at work & driving to Hinsdale to visit my mother in the hospital. Upon entering I was not greeted & the front person went to the back to grab top to all of the condiments. He didn’t ask if I could wait…once he was done he then asked for my order. I really was in my mind contemplating leaving but I was too exhausted to stop elsewhere. Little did I know my night when not end anytime soon. I made it home w sandwich opened it up to a hard as a brick bread. I called the store & spoke to manager on duty & was told I had to drive back to the store to return the sandwich in order to receive a credit. What a disservice & inconvenience. No apology. I returned to the store. Still no apology. Terrible service and food.

This place is great! The other reviewer clearly came at the wrong time or do not know the context of what they were seeing. This place has always been quick and easy unless there’s a rush.

I visited this subway today, buisness hours on the door and online states it’s 8:30am to 9:30pm. This location has employees sitting eating in lobby and one behind counter. Customers are trying to get in but doors are locked. Neither employee open the door nor gave a reason for Buisness to be closed at 8::45pm instead of the closing hours that’s posted. Will never visit again!

This has to be the worst Subway in the south suburbs.
The main problem at this Subway is the kids they choose to hire. They are clueless to anything that's going on regarding your online order. They either didn't know, hadn't seen the online order, forgot, hadn't made it yet, or they don't have what you want so they cancel your online order without you knowing.
Now you have to wait days on a reimbursement, no sandwich, and you're still hungry.
I've dealt with the same issues from this Subway at least 4 to 5 times with online orders.
Save your time, money, and avoid the aggravation.

Gave it 1.star and I see other customers gave it one star too. I didn't order any food as I only wanted a cup of soup. I came at 9:53am, they open at 8:30 and there's absolutely no soup ready. What the h3ll is wrong with Subway locations? I either get watery or cold soup or they don't have soup ready at all.
