The manager during the day needs to appreciate his customers and staff. The place is remodeled. Been coming here for 40+ years. Food is still good, the waitresses that have been here for a long time are still great

Big menu breakfast all day, 2 fabulous homemade soups made daily (Quart size Togo available). New cozy booths, tables, and single tall counter seating for a quick coffee, pie, or old-fashioned shake made with whole milk $4.99. Kids love the $12 Pizza (tax & 1 topping included). I love the spicy nacho cheese with soft baked pretzels! The Grilled chicken or steak & eggs with pancakes are recommended. (Pass on the burger). Small restaurant inside bowling alley. Easy parking, Kid friendly. Try a francheesie (sausage wrapped in bacon, deep fried, on bun (seen in pic below). Yum! Very well lit diner. Not open 24hrs anymore.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the pizza, pancakes with fruit & lots of whipped cream. Banana splits big enough to share!

My uncle and I came here for brunch today. I got the eggs florentine and he got the veggie omelette. It was really good! I picked this place at random - we were visiting another business in the area and both wanted to have breakfast before heading back to Woodridge. The portions are big and prices are very reasonable. The chef knows what he’s doing! My eggs florentine were scrumptious, and I took half to go due to the aforementioned generous portion sizes. The coffee is amazing! Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My uncle ate everything on his plate, and we both left full and satisfied, constantly commenting on the deliciousness of the food on our ride home. I’ll be sure to come back sometime!

First time here. Already love this place. Had a breakfast. Super delicious food. Very good and tasty coffee. Loved it all. All made the way I wanted. I Ate everything I had on the plates. Chef with skills and sens of taste. Thank you Chef. Sure to come back. Will be there for more delicious stuff. Not a big place but in the building bolling lanes and bar. Nice place.

This nostalgia diner is the best! Great service, food and overall friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended!!
The new look is very comforting. Sadly it seats less people. But all the seating has real padding. Our waitress was very unpleasant.
