I love the BLT turkey sandwich. It's a triple decker and is always a filling quantity of goodness. It comes with soup. The chicken noodle is perfect. Service is very good and always accommodating. Often, I'm in a hurry for work, but they are quick to bring out our order no matter how busy they are. I just wish they were open later. There are few diners around with a home cooked meal feel. Keep up the great work. I'll be back soon.

Parking: There's plenty of parking, but when they are busy, it requires you to walk a bit. They close at 3:00 pm as well.

Almost $19 for you smallllll to go bowls of soup, with no bread….

They won't customize a dish. You have to order exactly what is on the menu. I wanted a croissant breakfast sandwich & was told no that the croissants are only for lunch. What? It's 7am. Won't be back

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Honey-Jam Cafe in Countryside for breakfast, thanks to a friend who suggested the spot. Walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and inviting ambiance. It felt welcoming and well-maintained, setting the tone for what I hoped would be a memorable meal.

I ordered the country fried steak, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve had. The patty was impressively thick and cooked to perfection, with a flavor that showcased high-quality ingredients. The eggs were equally well-prepared, light, and satisfying, giving a great balance to the dish. My friend’s recommendation proved right, as the quality of the food here really shines.

I also tried the potato eggs Benedict, which, aside from one minor issue, was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly done, and the flavors melded beautifully. However, I had specified my order without mushrooms and a few other ingredients due to a food allergy. Unfortunately, the initial dish was served with everything included, so I had to send it back for adjustments. When it returned, the presentation left a bit to be desired. The components were separated onto different plates, making it feel disjointed. This, coupled with the delay, affected my overall dining experience, as my friend had finished their meal by the time I received mine.

While the food itself deserves a five-star rating for its flavor and quality, the service aspect slightly dampened the experience. That said, I’d still recommend Honey-Jam Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast in Countryside. With a bit more attention to detail in the service, it would easily be a five-star spot in my book.

Just finished a delicious breakfast at Honey Jam. .. the special pumpkin pancakes were enough for 2 meals! Our server, Kim, was especially helpful, courteous, and speedy. We will definitely return.
