Ordered 2 Monte Cristo sandwiches and was incredibly disappointed by the lack of flavor. It looked good but both our sandwiches had no flavor whatsoever. Liberally sprinkled salt and pepper and it was still bland afterwards.

The cream of chicken soup was great, French fries were crispy but bland and not sure why the lettuce and tomatoes on the side poured out about half a cup of water when picked up.

The prices were pretty high for a diner, About $15 per sandwich. Would not come back again unless I had money to burn and didn’t care that the food was dry and had no flavor whatsoever.

It’s blueberry hill cafe prices without the atmosphere and flavor.

Expect to pay $15-20 per person

Worst food I ever had. Spit the pancakes out worst thing I ever tasted egg omelette burned hope bacon was edible couldn’t see it in cheese. Saved recipe in case I die of food poisoning. Horrible horrendous horrific worst restaurant I ever went to
Don’t go here I hope my body forgets what I did to it. Better to fast then eat at this restaurant. I bet the workers go to McDonalds

The service was terrible, and the food was even worse. Had to pay for the worst French toast I've ever had, and I only took two bites of it. I do not recommend coming here.

Service here was great. I stopped in on a Wednesday morning and was quickly served a glass of water and asked if I'd like anything to drink. I asked for coffee and they made sure it was filled. I had a meal that had two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and an order of Greek toast. Everything was freshly made and hot. The service was great and the restaurant is clean.

Service is good, food is good.
But they really need a deep cleaning. Carpets are dirty. Wiping down the hot sauce and ketchup bottles and salt and pepper shakers would be nice.
There is 1 young man who busts his but sweeping and mopping and setting up the tables.

Don't go here. This place went down hill. I got overcooked food and a dead fly in my drink.
The waitress tried her best to fix it. But I was in a mostly empty restaurant and I should have never gotten this treatment. Its a shame because I used to go here a lot when I was a kid. But now I see slot machines and this is another place that went down hill after slot machines were put in.

My work brings me to a lot of places around Illinois, and I have to eat at a lot of different restaurants. I’ve had breakfast in multiple different places in the countryside area and I finally got around to trying this one. Honestly it’s the best of the bunch. for about $10, I got one egg, bacon, fruit, and pancakes. It was all excellent. My server was super nice, and everyone was on top of everything. Barely had to wait at all. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try lunch here.
