I was visiting from Oklahoma since I used to live in Marion. My wife’s birthday was that weekend, so I took her out to Big Blue’s and was amazed at the flavor of the food, not to mention the portion. I have been going to Big Blues Que for years now. The food and service is phenomenal. I also just wanted to add a special thank you to the woman who handed me my food on Friday. I checked my receipt and noticed that I was only charged for one dessert, and when I asked her if I could pay for it or give a tip, she replied "Sometimes we all need a blessing in our lives." Best BBQ and people in Southern IL! Just go, you will not be disappointed. Open only on Friday and Saturdays. Take out only. They do have picnic areas you can eat and enjoy if you don't want to wait until you get home.
