I have been buying their meat sticks for years. I finally had an opportunity to drop off two deer for them to process. The doe was done in two days(no specialty items made from her). Staff are EXTREMELY courteous, friendly, and very helpful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

been going there since 1990 and always got good meat, just recently went and got beef bundle in october 2025. the ribeyes and serloins were great but went to thaw out the 80% ground beef from that bundle, super brown and the smell was bad, so i ended up opening 3 more lbs and same thing. then i took them back to the butcher and he told me it smelled ok and brown hamburger was normal for 80% we had 15 lbs, they had 4 employees smell it and of course they all agreed it was ok told them to keep the meat and left, didnt like being told i was wrong about the meat, they couldnt own up to it and thats to bad. then the wife went their and told them the meat stunk and she ended getting 5 lbs of 80% hamburger and cash witch is ok. so i looked at the 80% new stuff no brown bright red and no smell, that not the way they said it would be. so if customers say the meat looks bad and smells own up to it mistakes happen no ones perfect, but iam done with headons for the way i was treated, and thats to bad!!!!!!!!

They've got all kinds of great quality cuts and its always an experience walking through the doors. Wisconsin's got nothin' on Headon's brats. I've had every flavor up in The Cheddar Curtain and not a one comes close to Headons. The blue cheese prime rib brats are a revelation. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Headons or nothing.

Used to love this place, but their business hours is completely ignorant If I can find a normal butcher with normal hours, I will switch believe me can’t get any meat on the weekend. I mean Jesus you gotta plan your barbecue on a Thursday for the weekend.
