Great service , very clean and very sanitwz cooking and dinning area. They had booster seats for the little ones
And they even gave us coloomg page for the kids. Great menu options with even better desserts all at a good price. Their margaritas were strong too an very enjoyable. Public bathrooms with kid changing station. Great for family gatherings or girls night. Classic sodt music and good environment

Had to try Applebee's out as a ride along for a double date. I ordered a drink and that took an hour. Our server was focused on taking care of her friends when she came to greet our table after sitting for about 30 mins without any service. She was like "welcome to appl..... Hey Sit them over there, they are with me". Lol sad. The hostess with the mostest kept telling everyone that it was a 45 min wait because they only had 2 servers for the restaurant and that more were coming in in 45 mins (never saw any other servers come in). So we finally ordered our food and drinks and apps. Apps took about 45 mins to come out. They brought out the other couples food and gave it to the servers friend table by accident who ate our appetizer in about 3.2 sec. Then they figured it out and brought the remnants to our table (they had 2 burgers that the other table didn't touch so it was whatever). They replaced the missing app which was cool. My food took a good hour+ to come out and it was after everyone else had their food and was eating. Sad (simple chicken and pasta dish). I know the service was terribly slow because the movie rampage was on and we saw it play through twice lol. If it wasn't for my friend, we would've just left but we made the best of it. I had my leftovers a couple days later and the feelings of eating there came right back. If you can't afford exlax just eat leftover Applebee's.....

Oh and the guy bringing the water dropped a bunch of it on my friend's will wool coat. SMH

Couple recommendations to Applebee's

1. Either staff up or train your staff on how to focus on speed and accuracy
2. Maybe let us order from a tablet at the table if you can't find wait staff
3. Learn how to bring things in order. Drinks, apps, dinner for everyone at the table

Recommendation to customers
1. Stop going here until they actually do something to improve. They always have seemed to be terrible and this recent visit confirmed it. Chili's is getting better, why can't this place. Talk with your money.

2. Be friends with the servers, they will treat you better and push you ahead of other customers

3. Bring some popcorn so you can watch the same movie a couple times while your service moves at snails pace with a dash of attitude.

Applebee's - when you're here, you're ugh ugh I guess family. Enjoy your meal and my review!

Took my mother for 74th birthday to Applebee's got there half the restaurant was empty on a Saturday 3/8/25 right before dinner. walked in waited for someone to see how many was in our party we said two, she said hold on found a younger African-American girl who looked at us and told us the wait was going to be 1 hour with an attitude. Half if not more of the restaurant tables and booths on both sides were empty no one was sitting there they told us it was due to lack of waitresses while she looked at me like she was annoyed and I felt discriminated against one hour are you kidding me the restaurant was empty..... Their excuse we don't have enough waitresses well if that's the case on a Saturday a weekend you might as well just close down the restaurant cuz you're fixing to get a lot of customers and that's not how you run a restaurant corporate has been contacted but I returned the phone call and no one answered don't worry I will follow up. Management should view the security cameras to see this if they like

Was charged twice for appetizers which were supposed to be free with order over $15. But whatever it was my bday. Just wanted to try the bourbon chicken pasta food was good just the meat portion was small. Had Tipsy Leprechaun and it was watered down after I specifically told the server if It was watered down I don't want it but hey I had my son with me and I didn't want to make it a big deal in front of him

Absolutely worst Applebees ever! The hostess always states a hour wait with only 8 customers sitting and 3 aisles of booths open. Really needs to be shut down because their competitors The office always have room available despite large or small crowd

Consistent menu with seasonal additions. Often, shorthanded on staff which creates a wait even with vacant tables. The staff they do have are friendly and efficient

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but not a lot of large tables for bigger groups

This service was slow and inattentive. The food was lacking and didn't meet the standards advertised. Restraunt wasn't full but our server was truly incognito. I always dread going to Applebee's and they never exceed my expectations.

This is an update: I came here Saturday March 1st 2025 for my birthday with my family and after 9 years I seen nothing change there were other parties waiting alongside my party for almost an hour before anything was told to us about being short staffed one party got up and asked for the manager her name was Felicia she didn't seem to care she was short-staffed and had no help but she decided to take take out orders priority other than the customers that was waiting to be seated a good manager with a told the customer about the long wait times or had a sign on the door that they were short-staffed currently in to come back later or just cancel the takeout orders all together so she can handle the customers that was dining in but she did nothing of the sort that I thought it was very unprofessional other customers that I was waiting with left they were so nice and so disappointed that they miss major tips and good business from that I'm sure they will be leaving reviews too the only good part about this day was when we decided to wait and got see that we had a great server name Lymon who was handling everything like a pro despite of being under pressure handling 10 tables at a time smoothly he should be made manager my meal was horrible my salmon was overcooked mashed potatoes lockdown on my plate in the green beans was not even full green beans my party seem to enjoy their food I guess they didn't care but I'm very particular and I knew the salmon was way overcook it was so dry I now know why I haven't patronized this location in 9 years but I was hoping to have a much more better experience than the last time I did I will now post my last review from 9 years ago........9 years ago
I was served food with hair all over my plate which seems it came from a man's beard I wrote in a complaint to the restaurant customer service and still haven't heard anything from the owner acknowledging the incident This place needs a thorough inspection before it happens to other customers!!! the food is old the kitchen is nasty I have pictures and my receipt to prove the incident occurred JUST CONTACTED THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH THEY NEED AN EMERGENCY INSPECTION

Me and my husband spent Thanksgiving and New year's eve last year 2024. And regularly we go there for a quick bites at Applebee's Crestwood Illinois. Until New year's eve my husband forgot his debit card unknowingly we spent the whole time after we ate at Applebee's at the show that was a 2 1/2 hours on our way home rushing to meet the new year we decided to stopped by the bank to grab some cash to find out my husband's debit card was not with him. We remembered our last stop was Applebee's so we called to ask if they happened to have my husband's card and true enough they had it. We drove back there and took the card back thankfully. However the following day without going no where because it was new year's day ; my husband's card was used several times at Wendy's crestwood and some booking transactions without our knowledge. We called the bank and reported. We took time to go to Applebee's Crestwood knowing that my husband's card was used after it was left at Applebee's to raise our concerns and to find out what has transpired at those times and why it was used at Wendy's crestwood several times? The manager didn't say much other than and i quote " It is hard to accuse and they wont admit it if in case " and unquote. The Money that was lost and used was not the issue because it was returned and the card was replaced. Our concerns are people who are taking advantage of this kind of situation. As customers we value honest services. we just hope they do the same. We never point fingers who did it but the principle lingering into our
Minds on how we take care of our clients, and how can we deal with this kind of situation so it won't be forgotten and wont be done to others again. Hiring competent and honest people means a lot. Do we still wanted to go back at Applebee's CRESTWOOD?Knowing what happened that new year's eve? I can say we can to dine in a place that we feel we are safe and comfortable and properly accommodated when problems or concerns arises. By the way we gave a descent Tip.

The place appeared to be short staffed and there was no bartender on staff. The gentleman that showed us to our table, appeared to be the host, and but was (no host)!! Short staffed affected the kitchen too because there was one cook at work. My wife and I ordered cheese burgers and fries and my fries were cold and hers warm my burger was good but warm and the bun soggy because the burger bun had been sitting there with cold damp tomato, and cold lettuce and warm melted cheese and meat waiting to be served. The drinks were horrible. Don’t order the Bahama mama.

Had to wait 45 minutes for 2 drinks and our appetizer without plates or napkins until we were halfway done with our appetizer. Not to mention that the Draft Beer is had was room temperature. This review was made while sitting at our table
