The food was very good. However the waitress seemed very shady when she brought my bill. She had automatically gave herself a 18% gratuity, when the bottom of the receipt clearly gave recommendations on how much to tip. When asked about this, she told me they automatically charge 18% for a bill over $60. When asked to see this in writing, she walked away. So I went up front to ask the hostess and she showed me on the menu where it said they have the right to add extra to whatever...
Would highly reccomend ordering a side biscuit with whatever you decide to get. 5 dollars for drip coffee is an absolute joke though, coffee should really be free or like 2 dollars if anything. The coffee was offered to me as if it was on the house.
This is a good place for breakfast. I prefer the other location in Oak Lawn, because it feels like you're not as cramped. The tables are very pushed together at the location in Crestwood. The food is always consistently good, though it's a couple dollars more expensive for breakfast than other places. Whether it's my wife and I or with a group of friends or family someone at the table always gets the Bananas Foster French toast, so I would highly recommend that....
