This restaurant defines family dining. The owner named my daughter after a decade of not seeing her... Delicious food with phenomenal service! I highly recommend the breakfast special cinnamon roll french toast combo! THANKS AGAIN ANDY'S FAMILY!!!

Old Town feel, but great food and the service is even better! Angie, the owner is incredibly sweet and hospitable. We couldn't give our business to a nicer family!

Best restaurant in Crystal Lake! Nobody beats their cream of chicken and rice with a hint of lemon. We eat there often. Great food. Great service. Great prices!

Great diner! The food and service were excellent. The corner beef hash was crispy and amazing. The Cinnamon roll French toast was slightly caramelized and not drenched in sugar.Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free toast and French toast. There may be cross contamination, but great for those that are not celiac.

Having lived in McHenry County for over 40 years, we overlooked this quintessential diner.I stopped in for lunch today to be very pleasantly impressed. The lemon chicken soup is served daily. It was hot, thick and tasty. It would benefit from a bit more lemon but was otherwise quite good.My turkey sandwich was absolutely delicious. The turkey was sliced thick and was obviously real oven roasted turkey. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh-not even a smidge of brown on the iceberg lettuce and there was plenty. The coleslaw looked too creamy but to my surprise was delicious! The sandwich came with warm homemade potato chips.Service was just perfect. The waitress sat down a few times to explain how things are done and what to expect on weekends and Friday night fish fry. She was not the least bit intrusive just friendly and forthcoming. The owner came around to check and when I paid the reasonable bill she provided additional information such as where to park for the safest entry and most plentiful spots. The atmosphere is very traditional diner. There is a diner bar seating area, old but clean tables and chairs and the temperature was just right. What a gem!
