I lived in Milwaukee and have been to several local breweries and CLB is by far the best! Great core beers, outstanding seasonal beers, and super friendly staff! The atmosphere is chill! My wife and I actually had our small wedding reception there in their event room!

Crystal Lake Brewing is a really friendly brewery. It is a nice open space, not too industrial but still open and has a large patio. They had 15 beers on. Tap for my stop including: lager, low gluten lager, helles lager, Kolsch, red ale, Irish dry stout, west coast IPA, strong hazy pale, wheat, red IPA, hazy IPA, imperial hazy IPA, hefeweizen, cream ale, and nice smooth Baltic porter. All the beers I tried were really nice, the Baltic being my favorite. The music was good and the service was really friendly. I would definitely stop here again.

The beers were really good, we got porters and IPAs. It was raining the day we went so we didn't get to sit outside but there is plenty of outdoor space. There appears to be space for private party rentals but this didn't impact the indoor sitting. It's a relatively kid friendly brewery, younger kids who can sit in bar stools might struggle indoors. The food trucks were not available on the Sunday we stopped by so plan accordingly.

Crystal Lake Brewing has a great vibe, tasty seasonal beers, friendly staff, and a dog-friendly patio. Loved the flights, games, and chill atmosphere. A must-stop spot in downtown Crystal Lake!
