I usually like this place but tonight no so much. If I’m paying over $20,00 for a cheeseburger fries and a shake then it better be worth it. First off my food was cold. The cheeseburger was okay but would have been better if it were at least warm. Secondly, the fries 1/4th of the portion were burnt and they were cold. This leads me to believe they mixed old fries with older burnt fries. The only item that was pretty good was the peanut butter and chocolate milkshake. It was cold as it was supposed to be but could have been better. It’s very disappointing there isn’t any consistency.over at this establishment. Do better please . Thank you .

Burgers and fries were both good. There was nothing really setting the burgers apart from like Steak and Shake or Culvers though. I think it is overpriced for what you get. Also, maybe it's just me but I think toasting the hamburger buns would make them better, they just seemed like an off brand bun you'd get at Walmart. Employees behind the counter were very friendly. I gave it a 4 for the fries and good employees.

Despite the location being there for years and me living in Crystal Lake for a long time, I took my first visit on Monday, June 9, 2025 to any Five Guys’ location and I was very impressed with the awesome burgers and different sizes as well as the extra fries in the bag, what a great idea! Really good food and I’ll have to add Five Guys to my list of CL favorites!
