Delicious Chicago "Vinnie-Beef" Stuffs, Friendly workers trying to get good food in-and-out as they should, and a pleasant atmosphere with outdoor seating next to the school. Definitely worth a try if you're headed down towards Island Lake.Parking: Parking is usually empty.

I had the grilled chicken Caesar pita which was really good. I liked the extra touch of fresh Parmesan on top. Could do with less Caesar dressing though. My husband had the gyros and fries; he said both good. Young woman that greeted us as we walked in and took our order was friendly and proficient. Like the coziness of the wooden tables and chairs decor. The only complaint we have and hope they can rectify because we won't be coming back only because of this: whatever deodorizer they're using in back by the bathrooms is so overwhelmingly foul-smelling and powerful, that you smell it the minute you walk into the restaurant. The smell was so bad in back where you have to go to get your drinks and napkins that it was gagging us. We needed more napkins and we laughingly "debated" on who was going to go back there to get more.

My visit today through pick up was a good experience with staff. However, I ordered a gyros (like always) and the tzatsiki sauce was smaller, but tasted funny and the pita bread was oddly soggy. This is the first time I wasn’t 100% happy. It was odd. Not normal for them.

Wow, stunned to find this gem! Not your typical hot dog place; fun country theme inside and bang for your buck when it comes to the food. We got the gyro platter and was stuffed. All for about $11!!! If in the area again will visit again!

Are you vegan? Do you worry about cross contamination? COME TO THIS PLACE!! This was my first time coming and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The fries are esp delicious.Inside the place is cozy with very nice employees.Vegetarian options: They got:- vegan meatball subs- vegan hamburgers- vegan hotdogsAnd the fries are even vegan!!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for those who are vegan or vegetarian.

They do not know how to do a Chicago polish. Yuk,red onions and a thuringer style sausage on French bread......I referred them to Portillos. Good Gyros and fries though.
