The first time I went to this place was a few weeks ago, it was very good. So I went there this afternoon 05/03/24 - ordered a steak bowl and some tacos for boyfriend and I. Got for a pickup order so we picked it up and headed home. Opened my food, take the chips out. Mixed it around, went to take a bite and a bug comes crawling out. I was in disbelief, I’ve never had this happened before. Obviously stopped eating my food immediately, I’m very disappointed because we originally were going to grab pizza. But we remembered how good this place was but I’m now thinking I’m not putting this on my list anymore.

The corn tortillas they use are not made right. The tortillas texture is wrong and cannot be warmed up properly!!! Check out Carlos cafe if you want to have a real taco!!!

I took my mom out for lunch, it was my second and her first time there. We did drive-thru, staff friendly, patient and helpful. The cost is pretty much what we expected, the food tasted fresh and authentic flavors. I'll be back again, maybe a dine-in next time. Then they will potentially have 5 stars across the board!

Chicken and steak was flavorless. Their sauce is good at least. Just not comparable to other offerings in the area ... which isn't much, sadly. Place is clean, staff was very nice.

Mediocre food on par with Qdoba or Chipotle. There are good Mexican restaurants in Crystal Lake that are authentic. Wouldn't come back.

They can't decide whether they want to be Taco Bell or authentic Mexican as they do neither well. Chipotle like but with less suburbanites. It has okay food, however, it doesn't have a niche it satisfies.
