Admittedly, I’ve only been here at the Crystal Lake farmers market. But even having lived in Chicago for 15 years, this is still the best taco I’ve had in a long time.

I wish you could comment on other people's reviews to see if there trolling. I bet their bad reviews are other Mexican restaurant owners trying to siphon business. I've only tried their queso Birria twice. You can only order this in person or door dash. My neighbors were talking about this place so we ordered. I was blown away with everything. Even the sauces were amazing and I didn't expect that flavor from both. It was so good that I was planning a visit in person to see if the birria was better than being delivered. I was blown away again and would say this has been the best Mexican food I've ever had. When I was there the beans came in a tostada chip that you didn't get when delivered. The beans had a different flavor that tasted smokey. Plus I got chips and salsa there. I've now abandoned my Friday tacos and getting Sunday lunch tacos here.

The food was horrible, the chips were stale, Guacamole seems like it was frozen store bought. The server had no clue what the items on the menu consist of. Used to love the place they had fresh great food, seem like while expanding they left behind and the core focus of preparing fresh and delicious food. From the quality of food we were served today even Taco Bell has better quality and tasting food. Never will be going back. Shame we use to like the place

Love going there meals are outstanding not tex mec but truly Mexican family food when you go to a restaurant and most of the people are Mexican it must be better than good

The food is anywhere between good to great but the service is VERY lacking. They had two people for a full restaurant and our order kept coming in incorrect. No apologies for not bringing the correct food 3 times (the third time we just kept the wrong order as we couldn’t keep going in circles). On top of this our waitress never came to check on us. We didn’t get any sauce for our tacos till we were almost done because we had to call her over various times because of how busy she was. Just totally forgot our table down time getting the check. I would be back if this was the first time here but this was our second shot at this place and they failed us again so it’s unlikely that we will be back. Btw we still tipped the min 15% but heck that was very undeserved to say the least. Don’t visit unless you are ok with paying for terrible service (& tipping for horrible service) and/or getting food you don’t ask for.

I order two sopes whit not lettuce and tomato and one of those have lettuce and tomato l call to said my complaint and tell me you can take off the lettuce is not the point not the right answer very disappoint the food is good but you need better service it was a women

Great food amazing service and atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing food more than I could eat always have to take a box with but it was well worth it because the leftovers were great as well..

The food is freshly made, so you have to wait for it to be prepared, but it is well worth it, and the waiters do their best to serve you. Good service.Prices are very affordable.And the day we attended and the time was very quiet.Thank you
