Love chocolate

We called to confirm the hours. We were told they were open till 5 pm on Sundays. We pulled up at 445 and they were already closed. This also doesn't match what is on Google. Disappointing.

The smell of wonderful chocolate hits you as soon as you walk in. The decor is fun and reminds me of being a kid in a candy store (which I become every time I walk in). But the wonderful chocolates are the reason to keep coming back. Their turtles are amazing and they have some unique items as well. I love their nonpareils. They can make up a gift box of your choice while you wait. We love Mellie's.

Came in after craving for some chocolate covered strawberries and they were COVERED all over with chocolate… incredible. A bit overpriced but they didn’t disappoint 👏👏

Came in and was served GREATLY by this solo employee named Christy. Amazing costumer service and kept most of their cool even while answering multiple phone calls. That’s absolutely insanely impressive and hectic. I asked Christy after greatly serving 20+ people at once if there was another person on the shift and they said no. I know no one can really change that policy but 1 person on a shift is insane if it was only today. 5 star food and even greater costumer service but putting the pressure of a whole shift on 1 person just doesn’t sit right with me.

It’s one of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s so delicious! I had chocolate , fat Elvis and time to be serious flavors! All the flavors are amazing! It’s an authentic made ice cream. The owner is very friendly and one of a kind lady! The atmosphere is good! It’s highly recommended when you’re visiting Crystal Lake!

I called to place an order. She put me on hold for 1/2 hour.

I asked for a special order at the last minute. Mellie went above and beyond to make it for me. The order was amazing and when we got there to pick it up they were closed. She had her Dad meet us so we would have our order. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them!

Cute little shop and some wonderful chocolate and ice cream. Shared an Oreo cookie shake with my grandson. And by "shared" I mean, he gobbled it down giving me only a sip. Try the Buckeyes. They're fantastic. Mellie's is also attached to the antique store and there are plenty of treasures to be found there too.

We ordered truffles for a work event and they were beautiful and delicious! They were also very fairly priced.

I tried some chocolates from Millie’s Chocolate & Co., and they were so yummy! The combination of almonds in dark chocolate and cherries in liqueur covered with dark and milk chocolate was delicious ? . The ladies at the cash register were very nice. I wished to order a fragrant tea or coffee, maybe a latte, but unfortunately, they only had cold drinks and sodas in their fridge. It would have been nice to enjoy a hot beverage along with the delicious chocolates on the spot. Therefore, I give it a 4 out of 5.
