I ordered the big beef Sandwich and not only did it lack meat, the bread size has shrunk about 2 in. It is now equivalent to what the sze of a regular sandwich use to be. The hedgefund that bought Portillo's spent about a billion dollars. However, that doesn't mean that they should be cutting back all the food sizes and raising the prices at the same time. I was very disappointed. I've had bigger beef sandwiches at several other places for the same price. Also, no one bothered to check the order to make sure the piece of cake I ordered was given with the order. It's too bad the family didn't take over the business because none of this would be happening.

We are regular customers at Portillo’s, but almost every single time our takeout orders are missing items — sauces, onion rings, fries, something is always left out.

When you dine in, you can at least walk up and ask for what you paid for, and they give it to you. But with takeout, it is NOT the customer’s job to check the bags — it is the staff’s job to make sure the entire order is correct and complete.

Yesterday we received completely burnt ribs and a burnt burger patty — but at least they were included this time instead of being forgotten like usual.

I am tired of paying full price, bringing food home, unpacking it, and realizing half the order is missing — and all I ever hear back is a useless “sorry.” That “sorry” means nothing when we are left without food we paid for. Fix this.

Best hot dogs anywhere. Always glad when out of town guests visit and their first request is Portillo's.
