Pots and Pies Bakery

Decided to stop here while I was in the area and I am so glad I did. The food is exquisite and the shop owner is so sweet and kind. I had to limit myself with all the goodies I wanted! Will most certainly make the trip to come back here.

One of my favorite places to spend all my money! Everything I’ve had at Pots and Pies has been out of this world and had me happy dancing in my chair. Get treats to eat there and then treats to bring home you won’t be disappointed! The bakers are the sweetest, kindest humans and I love chatting it up here! Like them on socials and follow their specials you won’t be disappointed!!

Absolutely outstanding!! Beef bourgonaise n chicken pot pies were amazing!! Got a tiramisu n raspberry chocolate tart n couldn’t even wait for the pot pies. We dug right in n loved them too. We will definitely be back soon

This place is a must try! If you can, try the Elvis! It's so delicious. The employee who assisted me was so sweet! I can't wait to go back and try some other items.

Tried it for the first time today, I was greeted so kindly and she recommended me some yummy pastries. So delicious, and a great place to visit!

Loved everything, however the bathroom was in need of some attention.

Stopped in for the first time this morning. Had the mushroom & Brie tart. It was AMAZING!!! The crust - sooo buttery and flaky, and the filling - creamy and rich with flavor. Also picked up an eclair and chocolate croissant to share with the family. They may or may not make it home!!

We have only tried the apple pie so far. We also bought a quiche. I really wanted to like it, but it was not good. Something was off as it was slightly sour testing. Also the crust and crumble part of the pie was flavorless. We buy a better apple pie from Walmart. Keeping our fingers crossed the quiche is better when we try it tomorrow morning. Updated to a 4 as we had the quiche this morning which was good. I would go there again for the quiche and steer clear of the apple pie.

This place was incredible! I wish I lived closer - and I would consider relocating to Crystal Lake if it meant I can come here often. I got the croque monsieur and unsweeted butterfly mint tea. It was a delightful lunch and finished my sandwich very fast! I had to then make another purchase because I needed more of their delicious food in my life! I then took the Indian chicken curry pie home for dinner. It came with instructions how to heat it up at home… and it was perfect. The ladies at the counter were so helpful and kind when I asked for suggestions too!

Great shop. I wanted to live it because the staff is so nice. Cookies are great. Lemon meringue pie was more like pudding inside. Savory pies had great crusts but fillings were just ok, no zip or pizzaz.

First visit was 2 weeks ago. Had to come back for more delicious deserts! The atmosphere inside is cute, next time I’ll have to stay longer and try a sandwich.
