Taco Tuesday has been the best!! $1.00 and they are so amazing. Will definitely be going to them as my main for Mexican food around McHenry county!! Check them out!
This is my new favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, very generous portions of meat, great margaritas, and very reasonable prices. The staff is very kind and attentive. It’s small but charming inside.

Taco Y Tequila Mexican Restaurant is a small, charming, and not fancy place, considered the best and most authentic in the Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, and Crystal Lake area. Everything is home made and great tasting, with excellent food and very generous portions. The tacos, guacamole, enchilada dinner, and chiles rellenos are all very tasty, with tender, spiced-just-right steak. The green salsa is a star. Taco Tuesday features amazing $1.00 tacos. Service is friendly, fast, kind, and attentive, with excellent customer service. The restaurant also has great margaritas, very reasonable prices, and a drive-through.
