The Breakers was my mother's favorite place to go out to eat. I took her to The Breakers many times. We always enjoyed any of the many menu items that were available. Elizabeth Landers was her name, and I am sure you are familiar with her son Edward. The service was always top notch.She liked a Brandy Ice for desert!
Fun, kitschy old-fashioned tiki bar with great cocktails (especially mai-tai’s), yummy egg rolls, and various tasty and reasonably priced Chinese dishes, nicely presented. Our favorite is the Har Sue Pea Pod. If you’re lucky you might have Danny as your server; he has been there 54 years now, and I’ve never had better, warmer customer service! The Breakers Restaurant offers a nostalgic South Pacific theme that will delight guests of all ages. The food is excellent and always fantastic, with standout dishes like the BEST egg rolls around, egg foo young, and beef chop suey. Amazing servers provide top notch service and the staff is incredibly friendly with kids. While the atmosphere can be lively, the restaurant is family-friendly and has been a local favorite for decades. The Mai Tais are out of this world and the bartender is the best in the county. Parking may be a tight squeeze, but the restaurant is wheelchair accessible on the first floor.
