First time at the restaurant. Service was great, food was very good except the flank steak (good cut of meat, cooked nicely, just kind of flavorless). The avocado shrimp bake was really good. Highly recommend. Feel overall it was a little pricey for the amount of food received but what isn't these days? We would go back.

We had an overall great experience at Vine and Plate tonight. The menu consists of items that you will not find in most restaurants in the area. Our server was fantastic and we were fortunate enough to meet the owner. A true gem in Crystal Lake!!

The Gnocchi cheese pasta was good. All other food (asparagus soup, parsnip purée, vegan scallops,etc) were sub-par. The main taste was sourness. Service was slow at first, but picked up. Drinks were good. Last time we went there, we tried the Patatas Bravas and the Flat Bread, both of which were good. It's a good place if you want a few bites + drinks/cocktail.
