⭐️⭐️ Applebee’s: The Olympic Sport of Waiting

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be trapped in a restaurant where time moves slower than dial-up internet, Applebee’s has you covered. The service is… well, “service” might be a strong word. They’re either chronically understaffed or the waitresses are starring in their own live-action remake of I Have No Idea What I’m Doing. Hard to tell.

The food? Shockingly decent — like, “I guess this is edible” decent. But don’t get too excited, because you’ll have plenty of time to emotionally prepare for it while you wait. And wait. And wait some more. Need a refill? Better send up a flare, because those things are harder to come by than a clean table on half-price apps night.

Overall, if you enjoy lukewarm service, mild confusion, and questioning your life choices one refill at a time, the Danville Applebee’s is the place for you.

Update: went back after my review against my better judgment and ordered a hamburger with WAFFLE fries. I got regular fry’s of course. Didn’t say anything because I was already mad that the broken chair ripped my coat.

Hot and delicious, be attentive on your bill.

Ordered 2 Cajun Salmon dinners, the Salmon was the dryest I’ve ever had!!! Also had the loaded potatoes which had no chives, no sour cream. If I felt like driving back I would’ve returned it. Unfortunately I’m still hungry and out of $40.

Greasiest burger I've ever had at Applebee's and the fries were not fresh by any means. Our server (the bartender) was great.

My chicken Alfredo could have been cooked longer. Had some of my noodles undercooked and didnt have enough Alfredo sauce on it.
