Upon arrival the staff were friendly and we were seated immediately. After that service fell apart. It took them 3 tries to bring us the correct drinks and to remember the queso. When we got our food it was just okay. Everything was drenched in a sauce and soggy. I will say that the tamales were the best part of the meal.
We had a party of 10, but the service was great. However, food was….food. It wasn’t horrible (but wasn’t that good either) and the prices were fair. They would be really good if all you want is drinks or simple dishes like tacos or burritos.
I’ve been there my whole life however more recently I’ve been ordering takeout (COVID) but when I do dine in it is just as I remember it has great food, service, and it’s cheap!
Vegetarian options: Have some options without meat mist do though depending on what you’re getting
Kid-friendliness: They have kids options or smaller food portions and have kind staff
Parking: Good, is in the plaza, and genuinely feels very warm and nice
