I have been going to Royal donut for many many many years .but December 1 something has changed !donuts are not the same quality very disappointing! The longjohns that I purchased were a lot smaller very dry very little icing . Not sure I will return, so sad.

So I can’t get real in house made doughnuts where I live. There’s not a single bakery offering them within 20 miles. So when I accidentally stumbled upon this place I was immediately head over heels. Granted I’m not in the area often but when I am this is always a stop I make. The doughnuts are wonderful and the staff is even better! Big fan! Good prices, good people, and delicious doughnuts!

Kicked us out early, silverware broke. No bathroom signs. but the nuts were nuts!

It is NOT closed. Trip advisor has been asked to change this. We visited in July 2025 and drove 5 miles off the interstate to get there. Don’t let the area fool you; yes Danville has had hard times but the donuts and employees make up for it! Just Simple delish donuts and the greeting you get when you walk in the door will make everything all right and far out and groovy. Not much parking but there is a vacant lot next door and a busy drive through.
