The small filets that we ordered were thin and over cooked. Wait staff was very slow -especially since only 3 other tables were occupied. The waitress was happy hanging at the bar with some guys. Will not be going back. Will drive a bit further and go to Possum Trot or The Beef House.

Once again the saltgrass was all that was expected. From sitting at the bar with Reign taking care of us to the dining room the experience for the party was outstanding.

Took a friend there to eat for the first time and her meal was over cooked, and my steak was tough I could hardlly chew it. but did not complain to the waitress.

My husband medium hamburger was almost raw! Our Tito's tea we had to have remade! Our server kept disappearing & seemed grouchy. Asked for dessert to go took & 15 minutes later asked where our dessert was! Finally got it! We have come here since they opened and it's always hit or miss but tonight was definitely a miss! So sad!

Food was great. We got seated at the entrance so a lot of people passing by us. Service was good.

First time diner. Waited about 15 minutes to be greeted at our table, which left us thirsty but with time to decide what we'd have. There were four out eating, and all four entrees plus the loaded potato soup were simply too salty. Service was slow and not always the most friendly. Soup was warm, not hot. The atmosphere was great, but at these prices, we expected better.

Our waitress Amanda made an already enjoyable meal even more with her wonderful personality and suggestion.

Enjoyed dinner at Saltgrass! Bread was fantastic, potato soup was very good and filet (6oz) was perfect size and tasted great. Our server Trisha was outstanding! Ask for Trisha, you will not be disappointed! We will be back again!

My steak was prepared properly. Service was friendly and prompt. I don't understand why all the tough reviews. Sure I've been to a location this chain that might have been a little better, but if that location was a 5.0 this is at least a 4.5.

Well the first 2 attempts with reservations were bad made them and then waited 45 minutes. Your host should not be going and bussing tables while people come in and wonder are they open this is consistent there . In our 3 attempts to eat here 2 of which we left because of waiting forever with and we left. I am a foodie and we had pork chop panseared green beens pork chop was way to salty green beans were undercooked with no taste I don't usually review stuff but this concensus in Danville was right overpriced food average at best and poor leadership with this restaurant which is typical with Danville No one taking control and poor host and waitress suffer do better Saltgrass I'm sure revenues are not where you projected. prediction 5 years it will be a new restaurant review out of 10 it's a 5

We were very excited to visit this restaurant for the first time. All the hype quickly became disappointed. There were plenty of empty tables but they sat our party right next to bathrooms. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue if the place was packed. We did have reservations, and our party was of 6 people. We waited over 30 min just to order our drinks. When making food order this also took a very long time. Again, if place was packed it's understandable but it was not. We were the last people in the restaurant because service was so slow. We had different waitress each time. My husband asked for a medium rare steak and received a fully cooked steak. Again, very disappointed with slow terrible service

My husband and I had reservations, when we arrived, it was pack, so we had to wate for about 6 or 7 min. We was taking to our table, the table was very small. The hostess could had waited until a large table was available, so we ask for another table, and the manager just flip us off, saying people eat at the small table all the time. He was lying, because the table is always connect to the other table, the table are side by side. I just fill like he was being a little racist. I will not be going back.

Why would you have to call and leave a message to make reservations to eat. Not very good eat to run a business

Went there 2/3/25 for my birthday. Ribs were so undercooked, couldn't even cut them, let alone eat them. Grossly overpriced, as well. Can't even give one star. Won't go back. Don't recommend either.

Always good food and great service. Tip your waitress, they take good care of you.
