I asked for sweet tea, It wasn't really sweet until I got to the bottom of my cup and the bottom was filled with sugar. They just dumped a bunch of sugar in my sweet tea which was crunchy. They didn't give us one of our drinks. They were not going to give us sauce for the chicken strips, when I asked for sauce they said we didnt order any. The cheese tasted like soap. Silverware and cups were filthy, employees did not look professional, two in particular looked like they just rolled out of bed. Not Impressed at all. Doesn't matter where you work you should always have pride in your position and look your best, act your best, do your best. Even if you don't want to be there, don't show it while you are on the clock. Also, the cooks need to review food safety and NOT touch there face and hair while at the grill!

Passing through town and stopped for a burger and fries and to use the rest room. BEST Steak n Shake experience ever. Very fast, and great service and EXCELLENT food. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The finely ground salt was also a nice bonus on the fries. I tipped more than my bill was. It was that good of an experience.
