First timers. The service was great and the food outstanding. We had the Gumbo and Shrimp & Grits. Our waitperson was new and got answers promptly when she didn't know. Not much ambiance but the food makes it very worthwhile. We don't live in the area but plan to make a return trip soon--well worth the drive.

The food is good at average. However, I’m a bit disappointed about the shrimp and grits. It is too oily but lack of creamy texture. It will be nice to make everything less oily.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch today and was really impressed. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was super friendly. She even gave us suggestions on food since it was our first time. She was very attentive and held good manners. I ordered chicken wings and he got the catfish. He just kept saying how fresh the catfish was and that this was our new favorite spot. Needless to say, we will be back!

I was very impressed today with my visit to The Big Easy. The bartender and owner came out and greeted us making sure we liked our food. The food was delicious and very fresh. Inside the bar is a very welcoming atmosphere and the bartender even informed us slots will be available March 18th. Everyone check this place out!!

Apparently not open until midnight. Not open tonight. Drove here off the highway just to try the food. And it's closed. At 630pm on a Tuesday.

Highly recommend if you appreciate this type of cuisine. Tried the catfish (very crispy yet not over cooked- that's an art form itself!). Jambalaya was good but just had sausage. The shrimp and grits were REALLY good and a surprise in little ol Danville! Okra- typical crispy treat. A very smooth and potent margarita will have us come into back for sure. Clean establishment with good service when we visited for lunch on a Saturday. Worth your trip.
