Had the Poutine, which is a large helping of french fries, joined with bacon, and fried gooey cheese curds, covered in white gravy, and green onion, it was delicious. Had the Authentic Cheeseburger, a large toasted brioche bun, with pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, and garlic aioli on top of a juicy large beef pattie, covered in cheese, with a side of delicious beer cheese soup, and fries. My wife had the Cheeseburger and fries as well, my daughter had chicken tenders and fries, the total came out to be around $39.00 which I thought was a mistake, so I brought it up with my waitress, no mistake here, this place is now our favorite place to go too in Danville, keep up the great work.

Not the best food around. The service and staff were very good. Husband had tomato bisque soup. Very thick but tasty, I had French onion very good not a lot of onions. We each ordered a steak. His was a ribeye that was 3/4 fat and gristle my filet was good size but just ok. No seasoning. Green beans were out of a can and carrots with balsamic glaze were raw! Not cooked at all. I don't think we will return. We informed management who very very cordial and took his plate to show the chef what poor quality his steak was. Sorry Heron, we won't be returning

We just had my Mom's 90th birthday party at The Heron. It was an open house & over 100 ppl attended. It was wonderful. The staff was great. The food was great. Robert took over & got everything & everyone organized. Jennifer, you exceeded our expectations. One guest said “it was elegant, but not pretentious “. Thanx to everyone for making this such a special night for my Mom.
