Got 2 chicken ceasar salads full size to go. Over 30 dollars. Very expensive. There was chicken in it and lettuce and ceasar dressing. Could only find 2 small slices of parmesan in the whole salad. No croutons. Not very much dressing either. Won't go back. Way over priced. Not very good either.

Just visited the slotted spoon for lunch. Had my heart set on trying the corn chowder but unfortunately it was not their soup of the day. I opted for a salad and turkey panini, which was very good. Great atmosphere, good and service. I recommend you give it a try.

Always warm and cozy environment when I get to eat at The Slotted Spoon. Food is delicious and good comfort food when having lunch with friends or family.
Also love their take and bake… perfect for sharing with friends who might have been sick or a new parent!

This was our first time using their service for an event of 150 guests. The mac and cheese and the beans were good, though not exceptional. However, there were too many issues that made the overall experience disappointing. Communication felt inconsistent from the beginning, and that same lack of communication continued throughout the event.

We were told the team would arrive at 5:30 PM to set up and that dinner would be served at 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, that did not happen. For an event of this size, at least four experienced servers should have been present to manage the serving line efficiently. Instead, there were only two people — the owner and one other helper — which made service feel unprepared and overwhelmed. Industry standards recommend 5–6 servers for 150+ guests, not two.

Regarding the food, the Italian beef was placed on hamburger buns, which made the presentation less appealing. Some guests enjoyed the chicken, while others said it was dry, so the feedback was mixed. The salad was supposed to include red onions; however, some plates had none and some had only one or two thin slices. The dressing portion was very minimal, and additional dressing was not placed on the tables so guests could add more if needed — again, a clear lack of communication. Several guests also mentioned that the buns were hard, which affected the overall meal experience. Some guests mentioned that the brownies were hard and overly rich, which affected their enjoyment of dessert.

One of the biggest disappointments was the beverages. We ordered lemonade and iced tea, yet both ran out extremely quickly. When asked about it, the owner said she had portioned 8 oz per person. For 150 guests, she brought only 11 gallons total. That means guests were only expected to have one small drink with no option for a second serving — which is unreasonable for any catered event. When the drinks ran out, guests were given water straight from the faucet. Many were understandably upset, especially since that was not what was discussed or expected.

There were simply too many moments where things felt unorganized and ill-prepared. I truly believe this event may have been too large for them to handle, and the pressure showed. Professionalism, preparation, and communication were lacking, and those areas are critical for a successful event of this size.

I hope this feedback helps the business grow stronger and ensures more consistency for future clients.

Did not eat here. My friend reserved it for a party and it was gorgeous!

we ordered for lunch at work which we do often from here. Today was disappointing though, my broccoli cheese soup had zero broccoli in it, my grilled cheese was not grilled, the bread was soft and not cooked at all. My coworker did not even eat her lunch.

I haven’t had sweets in over 2 weeks so I had my taste buds set for the wedding cake which is supposed to be the favorite dessert. OMG my feelings are so hurt that I wasted my sugar intake on such a dry chalky tasting cake. It was old! You guys are so wrong for even serving it!

I just came in today for the first time. I got lemon bars, chicken pot pie, cheeseburger sliders, sloppy joes and meatball subs. I ate a lemon bar on the way home and it was delicious. I had the sloppy joes for dinner and they were amazing. Really glad I found this place. The woman at the front was really nice too. I enjoyed talking to her. Nice and clean inside. Will definitely be back and will tell everyone about it too.

Skip the fast food and get good REAL FOOD fast. I love that I can pick up take and bake and not worry about dinner, or dine in and have great healthy food options for a lunch break. The desserts are naughty and delicious! I highly recommend!

Great food but small menu. Nice environment. The place was busy with only one waitress. She was running and multitasking.
