I was excited to try because I have only had their frozen pizza. Ordered Nick's special with turkey sausage. It was delicious. We also had the zucchini for an appetizer. Nice and crispy, and the Buffalo ranch sauce was a good addition to them. We will be back and so glad we stopped in. Service was excellent, and the wait did not take long, considering it was busy.

Went in with a party of 9 on a Friday evening and was quoted a 20 minute wait which isn't that bad. Once seated our waitress was attentive and got all orders correct. Appetizers (fried pickles and mozzarella sticks) arrived in a timely manner and the pizzas followed shortly after. The kids in the party really enjoyed their personal pizzas. My husband and I built our own veggie pizza and asked for garlic butter on the crust. I couldn't really taste the garlic butter, so I'm not sure I would get that again. Pizza tasted pretty basic and nothing really stood out as great on the pie. Overall, decent pizza if you're not looking for anything fancy.

I ve been coming for years to HRI, and still good pizza, good food, service is good, probably not the best but have nothing to complain about.
I'm giving a 4 star to the atmosphere, because since they remodeled the spaces, it feels less cozy, cold and not too inviting. I like the modern approach but I thought they could do better. Is that preventing me to c9me again, probably not.
P.s., put shades in all windows... Sun was annoying while eating during dinner.

This is my go to pizza when in Chicago. There crust is the perfect blend on thin vs thick and the beer in it gives it a very distinct flavor profile. Sausage and green peppers make this a great pizza.
