I went to this restaurant 22 years ago when they first opened and walked out right after they had the nerve to serve me stale chips. Yesterday I drove by and was surprised to see they were still open so me and a friend decided to give them another chance. The owner took our order after I requested to see the lunch menu. We both ordered enchiladas suisas (2) with rice n beans for $12 each. We saw in small print Margaritas were $5 so we ordered 2 margaritas. Wow, was I in for a surprised to find out that it was only for Mondays and was for a small margarita.) The owner was very nice at first and was telling me about how business was slow and how he makes the best steaks and serves them with a guarantee to be perfect. The food was actually tasty. The margarita was huge but a light pink color and we ordered Strawberry Margaritas go figure, but we were thirsty so we just drank it thinking $5 for water, not bad. It was blah. Nothing spectacular. We asked for the bill and I almost died when I saw $18 for a margarita. My total lunch bill was $65 for LUNCH. THAT IS INSANE. Nobody has the nerve to charge $18 for a watered down margarita. I asked the owner if this was a mistake and he said no. He said that's the normal price for a margarita and that he went to the local restaurants and that they charge even more. I know for a fact that was BS. He said most customers come and ask for a medium margarita so I asked why when he asked if we wanted margaritas he never mentioned sizes or prices. I reminded him that when i asked for the lunch menu I was trying to save money he should have known better and mentioned the sizes and prices. He had the nerve to say that he would have given me a discount for the drink if I didn't drink it all. I told him that after I saw what he was charging, you bet I was going to drink it all. I actually finished it while we were discussing his outrageous prices. He said he'd make it up to us by giving us a shot of his homemade tequila. I said no because we are not drinkers. He then came to our table with 2 $3 coupons for our next visit. I told him to keep them since I don't plan on ever returning to his restaurant with those ridiculous prices. He said this was the first time anyone ever complained about the prices. I told him that I was sure that if they were dissatisfied they would give him a bad review instead of mentioning it to his face and I proceeded to go online and show him his reviews online but he didn't want to hear it. They had complained about the prices but he doesn't seem to care. He asked what I wanted from him. He said if I wanted him to give me back the money for the drinks and I told him yes, if not half because the prices were ridiculous. He had the audacity to pull out 5 1$Dollar bills and put them on the table and said rudely " here you go". I told him that was an insult and to keep his money that he needed more than I did. I paid the bill and left. He was so condescending I have never encountered such a pathetic desperate owner of a restaurant. Worst part, when I got food poisoning from the food. Don't waste you money or time. There are lots of better Mexican restaurants nearby.

The servers are terrible especially the short young one with the 12 packs of eye lashes and seven pounds of make up. They over charge you and try to get over. The little girl does her job terrible and I see why there is nobody there every time we come. The steak tacos are good I can’t deny that but they are racist and selective. I don’t recommend this place at all you will come happy and leave depressed especially if Cruella is there.
