My wife and I came into the shop after dinner and will be coming back for dessert on the way home again and often. We were so delighted to be met with such pleasant, patient (we had a tough time picking), and knowledgeable staff. The man behind the counter knew his craft! He was down to offer me all kinds of tastes because I didn’t know what to get, and was very knowledgeable about how his products are made and what his equipment does. We’re going back for the ice cream pie for sure.

Went with my family last night around 8pm. The staff was really welcoming, offered little spoon tastes so that we could decide. My husband got a banana flavor (after trying a taste) and daughter got cotton candy after sampling. My son got a snow cone from the freezer options. The big shakes (Unicorn, Barbie, etc.) are like $14 so we passed on those. The waffle cones are huge so I went with a kids size.

Clean and cheery store. Helpful friendly staff. Good variety of flavors and toppings. Waffle cones are hand dipped in store (you can taste the difference). Kids will love the weird and wacky colors and flavors. Nice outdoor seating set up. Will absolutely come back.

Tizzy's is the place for unknown flavors, i had a banana split with 3 scoops, 3 giant cheeries. topped with whipped cream and cocolate fudge, I also enjoyed the helpful staff with sampling flavors. until i found mines. whenever i visit Chicago again this is the first stop.

The hype is real! First visit—mega success. We walked in after 9:30 p.m. with a 10 p.m. closing time, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The kids got their scoops right away, and we were even offered free balloons at the door. The kids called it “the best day ever.” Great selection, awesome cakes—we’re already looking forward to making this our new I scream for ice cream spot. Thank you!
Awesome place - the ice cream was really yummy and they have a variety of treats to try. The gentlemen serving us was extremely kind, offering us samples & was very attentive. Would recommend this place! Ice cream flavors we tried: banana pudding, raspberry truffle, salted caramel, chocolate. Banana pudding was really good, recommend trying that one!
