Very slow to seat us, very slow to take our order, refill drinks and chips. Not friendly
The layout was welcoming. Our server, Marlen, was attentive, there was no nickel and dime on additional chips and salsa (red chile) and the food was nicely displayed and certainly had an expected kick to it based on its name, and a restaurant we will consider going back to.

One star is very generous. Very excited to try this new restaurant but couldn't be more disappointed we had to go next door to Stoney River after 2 tries. First off our drinks were not good. I had habanero marg that was so incredibly spicy I could not drink and I normally eat and drink very spicy foods. Our food came out right away but wad literally cold not sure why, it came out right away. Manager came by and brought us new food, again cold then another Manager came by and offered to bring us food for a third time but we took a pass. How can shrimp taco, beef taco, barbaco taco, fried cauliflower, sweet potato taco, rice and beans all be cold unless it was cooked in morning and kept on a bad warmer!!! Manager did comp our meal that we did not eat and gave us gift cards that i will not use. We had to go next door to eat dinner. Food was not edible unless you like cold old food. It is ashame because it has a great atmosphere. I will not be returning.

Tortilla soup was hot and delicious. Would recommend the specialty margaritas (spicy mango is good or try Mezcal-based). My first two visits here were not memorable, but this was much better. Keep coming!!
Agree food has no flavor. Very bland. Bring meal before appetizers. Margarita more ice than liquid. Suggest u go to Taco Bell instead.

Amazing food, terrible service. Food was five stars all the way. Tacos…delicious. Chips and salsa… awesome, margaritas…solid. But service was pretty poor. We made a reservation for 4:15, had to wait till 4:45 to sit down when there were tables open everywhere. Our waitress took a while to get to is and took several trips to even take our orders for drinks. Food came out at a normal pace but we sat there for 25 minutes after eating before our check came and we could get out of there. Saw several other tables having a similarly slow dining experience around us. Hopefully it’s just growing pains as the place is only open about a month or so. We’ll try back in a few months when hopefully they will have it all sorted out. The food was definitely worth it.

From the minute we got to Ancho Agave, we were impressed! We are looking forward to enjoying the outside patio in the summer months! Inside, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable! But the best part is the food and the staff! Tried all their guacamoles. Could not pick a favorite! They each had their own unique spin and were all delicious! The Fajita’s were definitely a step above other restaurants with quality meats and fresh ingredients. My son enjoyed the Tortilla soup and my husband liked the Enchiladas! The staff was attentive, timely, and friendly too. The bartender happily customized a drink for me to tone down the spice which was great! We can’t wait to go back!

Our waiter was very rude towards us for some reason and had no enthusiasm for her job. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but it ruined our experience which was really unfortunate. Not to mention the tacos were underwhelming, were dry and had no sauce. My sisters chicken taco was pink and we were questioning if it was even cooked. Looking around, the other waiters had no energy either. Overall the atmosphere and energy felt off in the restaurant and the whole experience was just something we don’t need to return back to anytime soon
