I had a deeply disturbing experience at this restaurant about a week ago. My server, Melissa, made blatantly racist remarks — including muttering under her breath that “Blacks don’t tip.” I was stunned. I had to flag down the manager just to get water because she completely ignored me.

To be treated with such disrespect, not only as a paying customer but as a Black man was shocking and completely unacceptable. This server didn’t know anything about me, and yet made degrading assumptions based solely on my race.

I sincerely hope this restaurant does not share her values. I will not be returning, and I intend to use my platform and considerable resources to make sure this is brought to the public’s attention.

I urge the owners and management to launch a real investigation into this incident and take meaningful action. If not, the public will.

Racism has no place in any business. Period.

Food was good. I got blueberry pancakes my husband got chilaquiles. No complaints. We were seated right away food came pretty fast. I did not like the coffee but the rest was good I'll be back.

Reasonably priced breakfast restaurant with many options. I'm very picky about my breakfast- and I'm very lucky if I'm able to enjoy a breakfast prepared for me at a sit down restaurant maybe thrice a year- Usually a treat for my birthday or when traveling. Found Brunch Cafe while picking something up in Deerfield, very glad I stopped. Very highbrow snobby area but staff is very down to earth. Had the pleasure of having Faith K. as my waitress and would definitely come back for her fantastic service alone. Restuarant is quite clean and mellow- no over the top gaudy paint colors. Had the country fried steak which was delicious, slighty smaller than hoped and a little over cooked. Scrambled eggs were on point, nice and fluffy. Hashbrowns were requested well done and I recieved as such. Greek toast is reasonably sized. Coffee was very bitter and thats saying a lot because I only drink my coffee black- Unfortunately l had to add creamer to make it go down. Water was by request as was Tabasco. Butter, creamer, sugar and jelly were available on the table. Place was 80% full on a Friday at Noon. Total was $22.89 for one person, coffee and plate of country fried steak. Would go again if in the area.

Breakfast was really good. And just as important was the coffee was really good. The best part of the meal was Sam, our waitress. Such a genuine happy person. Very sweet, and her bubbly happiness set my day off to a perfect start.

Huge portions. Delicious food. It's a little noisy because of the high ceilings.

Good restaurant but many are sad about sudden end of their loyalty program. I lost over $5 because I trusted them. ☹️

This is a nice brunch or early breakfast spot for families. I love how big and spacious it is. We never have to wait to be seated. The service was always great when we went. Steak and arugula Bennies is now my go-to dish here. It’s so so delicious. Highly recommend everyone to try at least once. They have a variety of food for 12 and under as well. The portions are always bigger than what we can finish. Definitely one of the better breakfast place around this area.

We stopped here on our way to Botanic Garden.
They have the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! The service was prompt, the place is super clean and it has a very warm atmosphere.
Super glad we found this place! Definitely a breakfast I would travel for.

Very disappointed in this place.

I let my server know I was going to use the washroom and came back and they threw my lunch out.

And, they decided to charge me full price, they did remake my sandwich, but there was no time to eat it.

Keep your hands off my food!!!!

Won't be back here, plus they are way over priced too
