The WIld Roaster is a gem of the north shore. Kaye, the owner/operator/mastermind, is a kind-hearted and generous person, always what she can to help other organizations and businesses in the area. She has catered for my non-profit organization at an extremely generous rate, and the quality of her food and coffee is incredible. She recently catered a breakfast event and individually schmeared and wrapped every mini bagel...a significant effort on a Sunday morning!

Passing thru and thought this would be a fun coffee stop. Was not disappointed! Chocolate chip scone was well balanced - not too chocolatey. The apricot jam on my breakfast croissant lent the perfect sweetness to a pretty savory dish. Breve latte was great! The staff was friendly and charmingly disorganized. I'll be coming back next time my travels allow.

I love the employees! When we came in the coffee shop, we were greeted by the owner. The employees were really nice, one of them had short hair and helped us clean the table outside. The cashier was also very nice, helped us with adding cinnamon powder to our coffee. Love the people here :)
I stumbled upon this place today visiting Deerfield from the city. I immediately felt at home. The owners/workers are wonderful humans. I will find reasons to visit again.

I almost missed this gem!! I’m always looking for local roasters when traveling. I was going to Home Depot and just stumbled across it. I asked if they were still open and told yes (however they weren’t which tells you TONS about their customer focus!) I was able to meet and talk to the owner, Kaye, about her coffee and business. She definitely knows about coffee as opposed to other cafes I’ve been to. In the end, since they were shutting down for the day, I just asked for a shot. She asked for immediate feedback which I appreciated! It was a dark and even blended roast. I promise I’ll be back at least one more time this week for a proper cup of coffee! #RoastLocalBuyLocal
