CAKE PERFECTION‼️ Black Forest cake. I ordered and had THE BEST cake EVER for my 70th Birthday from The Deerfield Bakery, the Deerfield location!! It looked GORGEOUS and tasted BEYOND DELICIOUS‼️ GREAT price too!

At this bakery I am filling like kid. I do not know what to choose because I want everything. Very tasteful baits.
Did the bakery change ownership? I thought it would be nice to bring a spread of those mini pastries to a family dinner and as we started eating them, we realized they had gone bad. I bit into a mini eclair and the filling tasted sour. It was sickening. I am shocked the staff allowed me to buy these knowing they were bad.

I had a few basic questions about the product, but the staff member I spoke with, Hailey seemed visibly uninterested and dismissive. Her passive-aggressive tone made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
What really upset me was seeing her interact with another customer shortly after. They asked questions as I did, but her whole attitude shifted. She was very accommodating to the other person. The difference was hard to ignore.
What was even more disgusting was the mouse I saw scurry behind the place where they store donuts. I immediately left. Amazing first impression.

Worst customer service ever . The manager would not let me speak to an owner after being very upset with a birthday cake I ordered . Was told owners do not speak to customers . Deerfield bakery is known for their cakes . Please let me tell
You the cake did not look anything like the pic i provided . Spoke to 2 managers and was told this is what you ordered . All the blame was put on me , on how i ordered it . I gave them a pick - outcome was nothing like the pic . Managers did not even try to help me . My daughter was disappointed on her 21st birthday . Cannot even tell you how bad their customer service was .
